Satisfactory Completion

To satisfy the outcomes of this course and pass General Maths Specialist, you must complete the following Outcomes (S/N result):

Outcome 3 - Use of Technology

AssessmentLetter grading of UG to A on the following:

 • Bookwork (80% completion of checklist

questions)• Topic tests (technology active and free, minimum

40% of total marks)• Analysis - Analysis / investigation tasks (minimum

40% of total marks)• Examination

There are two examinations for each Unit. The Technology Free Exam consists of short answer questions and the Technology Active Exam consists of multiple choice and short answer / analysis questions.

Work Strategies• The outcome list for each chapter – the

MINIMUM number expected.• Asking for help

– from teachers– from peers

• Attending Mathematics Homework club on Thursdays

• Revise MM work as Unit 1&2 MM is assumed knowledge

Absences• 90% attendance is required in order to

pass Units 1 & 2

• ABSENCE FROM AN ASSESSMENT TASK• You must deliver a medical certificate to
