Specialized Medicaid Room and Board funding provides each local jurisdiction the ability to pay for per diem services for youth placed in a Medicaid approved facility. Additionally, local jurisdictions’ have the flexibility to use this funding to provide community based programming to youth who are at risk for state correctional care. Each jurisdiction must report on the following elements (if applicable):
