NONIONIC SURFACTANTSNonionic Surfactants carry a neutral charge and generally compatible with all other surfactant families. Generally nonionics are used as emulsifiers, detergents, wetting agents, dispersants, foam boosters, viscosifiers and foam control additives. AMPHOTERIC SURFACTANTSAmphoteric Surfactants possess both anionic and cationic charges depending on environment. In alkaline systems they act as anionic and in acidic systems they act as cationic. They are compatible with all other surfactants and generally impart good foam properties, hydrotroping properties, detergency, viscosity building and wetting.

BETAINESBetaines tend to be mild surfactants that aid in foam boosting, detergency and also work as viscosity builders.
