VISUAL LITERACY AND MULTI-MODAL TEXT TEACHING
The Australian Curriculum now requires teachers to include the explicit teaching of visual literacy and the interpretation of multi-modal texts. We have created a series of visual literacy resources suitable for students aged 4 to 18, each presented with engaging photographs, videos and artworks.
The activities included provide the opportunity for students to develop skills in exploration, analysis, decoding, interpretation, questioning and evaluation.

The Australian Standardised Spelling Age Test (ASSAT) is a norm-referenced assessment, which compares the performance of students to that of a reference group of peers.
The test series is suitable for students aged 5-15 years, with the word lists graded in difficulty and based on many variations of lists.
THE AUSTRALIAN STANDARDISED SPELLING AGE TEST
The Diagnostic Tests provide teachers with useful and targeted feedback as to which specific spelling rules need to be revised, through diagnosing individual areas of weakness. Through setting these tests, teachers can obtain valuable information.
