SPI USA is located at bwtech@UMBC, a 41-acre Research & Technology Park located just outside of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) campus

Maryland’s growing life sciences industry has more than 5,500 biotechnology jobs and another 3,400 jobs in pharmaceuticals

In mid 2005, SPI USA updated the BioGMP ™ software content to reflect current changes to FDA CGMP regulations
Sold about 10 BioGMP™ software packages in 2005 independent of seminar sales
Submitted proposals to the State for funding to support the development of a new BioGMP ™ Net software product

• Develop business with the World Bank, USAID, IDB and other agencies headquartered in the Washington DC area
• Develop a closer working relationship with the SPI USA Irvine office
• Continue to focus strongly on the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors utilizing in-house expertise
• Diversify project areas to focus on market studies, feasibility studies, sector assessments, strategic alliances, innovation and partnership development
• Develop new partnerships with training and consulting organizations/companies to collaborate on proposal preparation, projects and training
