SPICE Christmas Party: Saturday 15th December 2012The leaves are falling off the trees, autumn has arrived, so now is the perfect time to book early for a
fabulous evening of festive fun - the SPICE Christmas Party!!
This year we’ve got an amazing venue at the brand new Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre Hotel.
Our superb package includes our own SPICE private party in the Neptune Suite with a delicious 3 course
Christmas Dinner, Coffee & Mince Pies and half a bottle of wine per person. After dinner we’ll be dancing

After another great summer of fun with SPICE (dodging the showers) we look forward to more great events
during the autumn and winter months. Recently we’ve had some amazing feedback from those of you who
enjoyed loads of fun at our events in the area. We’ve got more local events planned in Bath so check them
out below and remember to book early. Our regular monthly Bath Local Meet & Preview Night is still a
great place to meet up and chat with SPICE members from Bath and the surrounding towns and villages.
So if you haven’t yet been along to the Saracens Head yet why not head along and join us there.
New Events – Just Added
Bath Skyline WalkSunday 25th November, 11.00am
The Bath Skyline Walk is six miles of trails, passing through hidden valleys, tranquil
woodlands and a patchwork of meadows rich in wildlife. It's the perfect way to escape
from the city. Starting at the University, this walk offers some amazing view of the
historic city of Bath. After our walk we’ll visit a nearby pub for some refreshments
(optional – payable on the day).
SPICE Goes To The Dogs - Swindon Friday 30th November, 7.30pm
If you have never been greyhound racing before, here is your chance to sample the
excitement of this fast, furious and fun sport at one of the foremost stadiums in the
country. It’s a while since we’ve run this event, but in the past it always proved to be a
popular, fun evening. Our excellent deal this evening includes entrance to the
stadium, race-card and a three course meal in the Abbey Restaurant.
Bath On Ice - Magical Winter Ice RinkFriday 7th December, 10.30am
Celebrate Christmas not only in the traditional way, but also in style, as we gracefully
(or not) glide over the ice beneath the stars at the Royal Victoria Park in Bath.
Beautifully lit up after dark, we’ll enjoy an hours ice skating and indulge in a glass of
wine, beer or a soft drink. We’ll meet at 7.30pm, exchange our shoes for skates and
will then take to the ice for our 8.00pm skating session.

Bath Christmas Market & Dinner At CoteSaturday 24th November
Bath is transformed this weekend
into a Christmas Winter Wonderland
for the annual Christmas Market.
More than 120 fabulous stalls fill the
city centre for you to browse. After
our shopping extravaganza we’ll
enjoy a meal at the superb Cote
restaurant nearby. Remember to
book early to secure your place as is
sure to be a popular event again.

Become A SPICE Walk LeaderWe’re currently looking for one or two members who
would be prepared to become SPICE Walk Leaders. If you
enjoy a good country ramble, can spare some time at the
weekend and would like to help, please contact Dianne so
she can let you know what’s involved. Walk routes are
supplied by the SPICE office, however you can also suggest
any that you’re already familiar with.
