The PR7-MI spinneret inspection microscope consists on:

Basic instrument in welded steel construction with 2 portals in x-axis for vision tube on top and light tubeunder the table. Support arm for monitor, keyboard and mouse.

X-axis travel range 250 mm, backlash free linear roller guides and ballscrew

Y-axis travel range 400 mm, backlash free linear roller guides and ballscrew, frame for the holderplates

2 motorized z-axises, backlash free linear roller guides and ballscrew

Capillary microscope tube with integrated LED lighting for coaxial incident light with infinite optics andhigh resolution USB digital b/w camera.

3 Objectives with long working distance: OP1-VX02, OP1-VX05, OP1-VX10 (on screen magnification100x, 250x, 500x)

Counterbore view microscope tube with high resolution USB digital color camera (on screenmagnification 125x) with special halogen ring illumination.

Scanning microscope and camera for autolearning facility (detection of the hole positions for definition)

Transmitted LED light.

Integrated 19“ industrial PC with Intel DualCore processor, >= 160GB harddisc, >= 2GB RAM, CD/DVDreader/writer, 19“ TFT monitor, keyboard, mouse, Windows7

4-axis 19“ high resolution stepper motor controller with analog joystick, remote controlled.

19“ light control and I/O unit, remote controlled.

Blowing device with filter, service unit and connector for compressed air (6 bar).

Fully automatic spinneret inspection software IMS-SPIN with imaging for dirt detection and autofocus:

- multiple different spinnerets can be assigned to a holderplate

- inspection history with inspection time and lifetime tracking showing failure or passing of a spinneret

- geometry history with statistical evaluation for each capillary

- geometrical measurement of capillaries: area, diameter, perimeter, trilobal/octalobal features- flexible, expandable measurement routines for new capillary geometries

- stored images of the capillaries during the inspeciton can be reviewed

- user defined tolerances for inspeciton with graphical evaluation
