Spiritual Growth / increments

Preamble

ivine growth or enlargement is very important in the life of an

individual or a Church as a whole. Growth involves so many things

put together but we will talk and pray about three fundamental

things. These are spiritual, knowledge and financial growths respectively.

Spiritual growth

The first assignment as believers after given our life to Christ is to read

Bible daily ;have fellowship with other believers (Heb.10:25);enjoy teaching,

,communion, prayer and devotion to God in one faith (Act 2:42-47). We

need also to get into group ministry work and observe personal daily

prayers to talk to God.

Prayer is very important and God promised to answer our prayers (Zech

13; 9, Jh 15:7)

Knowledge growth

In Hos 4:6 the Bible said people perished for lack of knowledge and

understanding. We need to increase in knowledge, understanding and

wisdom (Act 17:11, Eph 5:17, 2Pe1:2-3). God gives wisdom freely (Ja 1:5).

God gives knowledge to fix broken people, protect ourselves from difficulty

of life and allow love to express itself in our good work.

Knowledge allows us to understand the will of God for our lives andwisdom is required to be applied by us for the purpose of God in lives to be

fulfilled.

Financial growth

We must recognize that God is the source of everything. When we give God is testing

our obedience and trust in Him. In Luke 6:38 He says give it shall come back to you... in

Deut 14:23, the purpose of Tithe was to teach people to put God first their lives.

There several Promises word of God made to people about giving and financial

prosperity:

Phi 4:19 MyGod shall supply your need according to His richness in glory

Prob 3:9-10 Honour the Lord with you substance, and with first fruityour barns

will be filled with plenty, and your press shall burst with new wine

Mal 3:10 there is blessing for give tithe.

Prov 11:25 A generous man will prosper, he would refresh others will himself be

refreshed

Prayer Points

Pray for forgiveness of sin and total obedience to word of God;

Pray that God will help you to be consistent in your spiritual life ,observe quite

time and fellowship with brethren;

Worship God in truth and develop trust relationship with him;

Pray for God to grant you revelation knowledge that will turn your life and that

of your family around for good;

Ask God for Knowledge, vision, wisdom and understanding that would drive

your life, academic and business for good purpose;

God should set you free from financial bondage such as burrowing money and

lack of financial breakthroughs;

Understand ways of God, obedience to Him, monetary contribution, offering

and charitable giving;

God should help to be faithful in give tithe, supporting people and Gods work;

Church growth, that more souls should be won for Christ our master;

That Church should solution ground for spiritual growth, financial freedom and

centre of excellence for knowledge of God and applications;

Our Church should be a place for raising champions for Christ.
