EDUCATION
My name is Lisa Geary and I am the Education Assistant at
Splatsin. I am currently covering for Nerissa Joseph. I was
born in New Westminster BC, and raised in Kamloops. I
have one younger brother named Derek and two wonderful
parents. I love the outdoors, nature, traveling, meeting
people, and sports. I play on a women’s hockey in Vernon,
and enjoy going to the ski hill in the winter time. My education includes: Sport
and Recreation Diploma, Medical Office Assistant, and a Certified Lifeguard and
Swim instructor. I enjoy working with the community and building a healthy
future for the kids.
SHIHIYA SCHOOL
My name is Selena Fletcher. I am excited to begin this new
chapter of my life as the Shihiya School Secretary. Originally
from Ontario, my family and I moved to the beautiful
Okanagan in 2009. I am the lucky mom to three incredible
children and our German Shepherd puppy. Before I started
my family, I attended the University of Guelph where I
studied Humanities. I’ve always loved working with children
and I am so pleased to be a part of this wonderful staff and to be able to serve
your great community in this role.

My name is Joel, as a Family and Youth support worker, I
strive to provide strength and abutment for our community.
A young Black Foot and Dene/Cree male, I have always had a
passion to help those around me. After some time spent with

BC, a small town in the Central Cariboo region of British

2007 and headed to the big city of Edmonton, Alberta.
After a few years of living the big city life, I ventured back to
BC and completed her Human Service Work (HSW) diploma
at Okanagan College (OC). Before completing my HSW
diploma, I have already decided that I would continue my
education and entered the Bachelor of Social Work program at Thompson Rivers
University in Kamloops, BC. I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work Degree,

I currently live with my partner in a small community outside of Kamloops, BC. I
