WELCOME MESSAGEASIAN PACIFIC ASSOCIATION FOR THE STUDY OF LIVER(APASL)

Ever since its inception, in August 1978 in Singapore, APASL (Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver) never looks back but stick to its goal towards advancing the science and practice of Hepatology. Today it is one of the leading associations based on investigation and treatment of liver diseases in the world and the largest scientific body that upholds the standards and profession, research and create improved treatment methods for millions of liver patients particularly in the entire Asia Pacific Region. APASL’s main objectives are to promote the latest scientific advancement and education of hepatology science, exchange of information and the development of consensus, encourage the practice of medicine in liver diseases and also coordinate scientific studies between various scientists and clinicians throughout the region.

We hold scientific educational symposia/ conferences developed by leading hepatologists periodically. Our events feature expert speakers presenting the finest data in the most happening topics of liver diseases with high quality scientific technical presentations, followed by varied supporting program. Each of our events intended to meet the growing demands of hepatology as core medical specialty and offers participants the right platform to exchange research, discuss outcomes, and interact with colleagues, focused on liver diseases. Our members include all medical professionals dedicated to hepatology — its research, practice and care. We cover the region from Manchuria in the North, to Australia in the South, to the Pacific Islands in the East and Iran in the West.

Our members are elected on their documented scientific publications. Mentoring, sharing of knowledge and dedication to professional growth and development are among the core values of APASL and its members.

It is a great pleasure for us to invite you to the 29th Asian Pacific for The Study of Liver (APASL) 2020 that will be held that will be held 4th-8th March 2020 in Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) , Bali, Indonesia. The Conference program covering all aspects of hepatology, for that purpose this would be the perfect moment for all of us to join and share the experience, knowledges and also giving the benefits for the population in Asian Pacific Region.

THE RULES OF SPONSOR1. For Sponsor that will display the product / product logo or company logo at the time of the event to besponsored, shall submit the materials to the Commi�ee 1 (one) month before the event. For companies that sponsor the symposium bag/proceedings book, the company's logo must be received by the Commi�ee no later than 2 (two) month prior the event.

2. Fee Speaker and Moderator of the inside/outside the city as well as accommodation and transportation expenses of dependent-related links as follows:

3. Sponsor strictly forbidden to bring participants out of the symposium area during the event.

4. Exhibition booths are already in the foyer convention. Sponsor are allowed to change the form of exhibition booths as far as not to disturb other Sponsor booths and can be directly related to the contractor. The cost of changing stand is outside the responsibility of the Commi�ee.

5. The Sponsor are required to bring as many participants.

6. 50% of the total amount should be paid by 30th June 2019 a�er the le�er of confirmation signed by the Commi�ee. The balance should be paid by 30th September 2019 the latest before the event. Payment can be made to :

THE RULES OF SPONSOR7. Only staff/officers who wear badges exhibition are allowed to enter the exhibition area during the event.

8. Sponsor are required to dress neatly and politely.

9. Exhibition booth is not allowed to make a game that will disturb the event. No company reception or any other events are allowed during any session, if proven so, there will be a penalty of IDR 50.000.000 (fi�y million rupiahs)

10. The Sponsor are not allowed to put up banners, and can be replaced with a standing banner/screen for display of products.

11. Sponsor who sponsored the registration participants must fill out the registration form and submit the form to the Commi�ee.

12. Location will be given on the “first come first served” basis.

13. If there are more than one potential sponsor interested in the same exhibition, the Commi�ee will give priority to potential Sponsor who offer higher value of Sponsorship.

14. If no agreement can be made, than lo�ery system will be applied whereby the winning party is not allowed to withdraw.

15. The cancellation a�er the signing of this cooperation agreement is subject to the following conditions: • If the Sponsor unilaterally cancel this cooperation agreement less than 2 months prior the event, the sponsor shall be fined 50% of the price stated in the Sponsorship proposal. • If the Sponsor unilaterally cancel this cooperation agreement less than 2 weeks prior the event, the sponsor shall be fined 100% in a way or without any reason whatsoever.

16. In the event of a delays / cancellation of a symposium due to force majeure, the Commi�ee at the request of the sponsor may consider the possibility of a change the date of symposium. The meaning of things outside the power (force majeure) in this agreement are: a. Natural disasters b. Government policy on finance / monetary c. Security of region or country that does not allow the implementation of symposium d. Things outside the power / ability of the Commi�ee as the organizer of the symposium.

5. The date of payment is decisive for the registration fee. Even if the registration form is received before the early bird or pre conference deadline, it will not be considered as early or pre conference registration if the payment has not been received before the deadlines.

Cancellation Policy – Registration :

1. Requests for registration cancellation must be received in writing by Registration Secretariat by fax at +6221-39700188, or via e-mail to [email protected]. Cancellations received before or on 30th September 2019 – an administrative fee of IDR 1.000.000 will be applied.

2. Cancellations received on or a�er 31th December 2019 – NO REFUND.

Please note that registration refunds will be processed within 30 days a�er the end of The 29th Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APASL) 2020, bank charges will be deducted from the refund.

9. Rooms will be reserved only a�er receiving one night deposit by credit card or bank transfer, and will be confirmed a�er receiving full payment. Payments should be completed before or on 31th December 2019. If the payment is not completed until that date, only one night reservation will be kept and the remaining unpaid nights will automatically cancelled.

11. Hotel check-in time is 14:00 and check-out time is 12:00. Late checkout prior 6 pm will be charged 50% from room rate. Late checkout a�er 6 pm onward, a one night full charge will be applied.
