After moving to Victoriathree years ago, Tipungwutiplayed for Gippsland Powerin the TAC Cup GrandFinal, as well as the NTunder-18s side — which tookout the National Division 2Championship — lastseason.

Essendon’s VFL oper-ations manager Matt Littlesaid the promising 18-year-old was an exciting prospect.

‘‘We are thrilled to haveAnthony on board for 2013and believe he can add somereal class to our side,’’ hesaid. ‘‘Anthony attendeddraft camp but was unfortu-nate not to receive a spot onan AFL list, so we are happyto be able to provide himwith an opportunity.
