In the world of football, biomechanics can be applied to study the different patterns of players’ movements during both games and training. Developing a player’s running ability depends on biomechanical factors related with a whole array of movements, as well as the physique of each player. But speed, strength, resistance and agility also depend, to a considerable degree, on the playing surface. Mondo has studied aspects such as phases of the running stride, agility and basic movements in technical/tactical game situations to develop surfaces that let players perform to their full abilities, while ensuring exceptional levels of safety and active protection against injury. Zeolites are microporous aluminosilicate minerals that can be readily hydrated or dehydrated. Hydrophilic fibres can help reduce the surface temperature of the synthetic turf. Zeolites act by capturing moisture and actively retaining it in the fibre. Using nanocomponent technology, Mondo further developed its acclaimed 4NX has developed a synthetic fibre with exceptional water retention properties. Combined with the exceptional strength of the 4NX fibre, the result is a playing surface with excellent playability and technical performance.

fibre concept with the objective of improving the technical performance and playability of Mondoturf synthetic turf systems. The goal of the ambitious research and development project conducted by MONDO was to create a fibre capable of attracting and holding water, thereby making an active contribution to the water retention performance of the synthetic turf system and reducing the temperature of the playing surface. Mondo further developed its acclaimed 4NX has developed and patented an exclusive system to incorporate zeolites into the extrusion process that produces 4NX fibres. The zeolites form a molecular bond with the fibre to create a new fibre, 4NX Hydro.

The 4NX concept maintains the successful 3NX morphological concept with a semi-concave structure with three asymmetric spines.

The ribs act as filament tensioners. The new, optimised angle enhances the durability of the narrowest part of the

filament and relieves the stress exerted on it when it is pushed down during interactions

with the player or the ball.

The new curvature radius of the filament significantly increases wear resistance to cuts and

fibrillation, resulting in improved mechanical tension.

A combined infill of Ecofill® Rebound and granules of selected pure cork from 100% natural cork oak bark. The ideal combination for a 100% ecological infill offering exceptional technical performance and playability. The exceptional technical properties of the Ecofill® Rebound elastomer combined with cork granules. Granulometry remains constant over time, offering exceptional technical performance and playability thanks to suberin, a natural polymer or biopolymer found in cork. The soles of used NIKE running shoes are mechanically shredded to the correct shape and size, then blended in the right dose and quantity to produce Ecofill® MDNK infill.

Outdoor modular bleacher

Developed by Mondo, designed and manufactured in compliance with European standard UNE EN 13200-6 and other goal equipment standards. Mondo’s outdoor modular bleacher is a modular system of frames, feet, seats, etc. arranged in a tiered configuration. The resulting assembly is compact and robust, and as safe as a permanent grandstand.

The dimensions of the bleacher can be adjusted to meet the characteristics of the location and the needs of the client - there’s a configuration suited to every requirement.

Folding outdoor bleacher

Mondo’s folding bleacher has three tiers and wheels at the back. The structure is folded by raising the front to tier to collapse the bleacher.

Once it’s in a fully vertical position, the bleacher can be wheeled away.

To unfold the bleacher, proceed in the reverse sequence: pull the front tier outwards until the bleacher is resting on its feet and in a fully horizontal position.

Mondo’s folding bleacher has three tiers and wheels at the back. The structure is folded by raising the front to tier to collapse the bleacher.

Once it’s in a fully vertical position, the bleacher can be wheeled away.

To unfold the bleacher, proceed in the reverse sequence: pull the front tier outwards until the bleacher is resting on its feet and in a fully horizontal position.

Mondo LED screens come pre-installed with our Mondoplayer and Mondovideo software solutions.

Mondoplayer enables images and video to be displayed on the LED screen, while Mondovideo allows it to be used as an electronic scoreboard. Both applications were fully designed and developed by Mondo. One of the biggest advantages of the Mondovideo system is that it comes with a range of scoring templates, meaning the LED screen can be used as a scoreboard for various kinds of sports.

Mondovideo can also receive sports information via tablet, making it much easier to update stats on scores, fouls etc.
