Training Catalog Over view

Types of Training Objects The table below details the types of training content that is referenced in this document.

Online Classes

Online Classes are computer-based training modules available through the LMS. These learning objects are self-paced and can be paused and re-played at the discretion of the learner.

• Learning Burst - Learning Bursts are short targeted segments of online training that deliver basic and valuable knowledge in short "bursts" or sessions (10 minutes or less).

Curriculum

A curriculum is collection of online courses available as a complete package in the LMS.

Materials

Materials are topic-specific objects available for the learner’s reference in the LMS. There are many types of reference materials available such as:

• Job-Aids • User Guides • Reference Guides • Reference Cards



SPP Learning Center (LMS) Registration Information

Learners will use the SPP Learning Center (LMS) to search and register for:

• Online Courses

• Curriculum

• Instructor-Led Classroom Training (ILT)

• Virtual (Net Conference) Instructor-Led Training (VILT)

• Reference Materials

• Videos

First-time visitors to the LMS must create an account to gain access.



Creating an Account in the SPP Learning Center

• Go to spp.csod.com and click the appropriate link:

o Member Registration - Employees of SPP Member companies

(For a list of SPP Member companies, go to the Member page of SPP.org.)

o Non-Member Registration - Employees of non-member companies (this includes Market Participants, Registered Entities who are not SPP members, etc.)

Once you have created an account, log into the LMS.

Contact [email protected] with any questions.

Browse for Training in the SPP Learning Center Once you have logged into the SPP Learning Center with your credentials , select the Browse for Training option under the Learning dropdown to find Integrated Marketplace training by Subject areas.

Once Browse for Training has been selected, use the Markets Subject search to find all Integrated Marketplace training by Subject as detailed in this Catalog.
