The team has been working upwards since the crane was installed in August 2012. 20 months later and on a perfectly sunny day, the development team behind Celsius Condominiums successfully topped- off the building at the 19th floor . Shiu Pong Prinicpals, Henry and Daniel Hung were joined by Monarch Corporations President, David George and Senior Vice President (Highrise), Emilio Tesolin, along with Scotiabank’s James Simandl, Kirkor Architects Simon Ko, International Home Marketing’s Elliott Taube and P&B Marketing’s Simon Cane as the final bucket of concrete was poured. “Topping Off” is a traditional builders’ rite ceremony that marks the point when the buildings final bucket of concrete has been poured. The ceremony marks the occasion and toasts the workers who have brought the building to that point.
