The campus has 2 Redbird Aviation Simulators that simulate four different planes: The Cessna 172S, The Cessna 206, the Piper Seneca II Turbo, twin engine, all with GPS+ Moving Map and Auto-Pilot and the Beech Baron 58 Twin Engine with Glass Cockpit. STUDENT SERVICES

Aboriginal Service Plan (ASP)Seven First Nations communities are represented on the Nechako ASP committee. This group works to provide guidance and direction to CNC to ensure programs and services are culturally relevant to the needs of member communities and learners.

Aboriginal Liaison/Coordinator, Support Workers/Elders on CampusSupports for Aboriginal student success are available at each campus. Contact your local campus.

Academic AdvisingSchedule a visit with an Academic Advisor for help with course selection, career choices, and securing education funding. The Advisor maintains a collection of college and university calendars to help you plan your education path, whether at CNC or another institution. Invigilation services available. Contact your local campus to schedule an appointment.

Career Technical Centre (CTC) – Dual Credits for High School StudentsGraduate from high school with one year of college already complete. Ask about upcoming programs in Nechako: ABT, Carpentry, and Welding. Speak to your local Career and Trades Program Coordinator to start the process.

Community Adult Literacy Program (CALP)Supports for adult learners wanting to increase their levels of literacy. Services include local tutors, referrals to other community agencies, essential skills training and help with cultural literacy for new Canadians. In Vanderhoof contact the Coordinator at the Neighbourhood Space: 250-567-4879. In Fort St. James contact the Coordinator at the Learning HUB: 250-996-7078. In Fraser Lake contact the Coordinator at 250-699-6249.

Early Intervention Services (EIS)The EIS Team includes a Speech and Language Pathologist and an Occupational Therapist. Service to all of our member communities can be accessed directly or via a referral from other agencies. Contact the Administration/Rehab Assistant for more information or to book an appointment: 250-567-6164.

The KEY Resource Centre in Fort St. JamesHealth, life and literacy outreach services to assist learners moving towards a healthier level of emotional/social health and well-being. Located at 360 Stuart Dr. W. Contact: 250-996-8933.

The Learning HUB in Fort St. JamesPrograms and resources for Life Long Learning. Provides support for learners, tutors, agencies and hosts community-wide literacy events. Literacy projects at the HUB are sponsored by Decoda Literacy Solutions. New Canadians receive assistance through the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) Settlement Services Program. The Neighbourhood Space in VanderhoofThe Space is home to the Youth Drop-In Centre (open daily from 3 pm -6 pm) and the Community Adult Literacy Program (CALP). Located at 183 First St. W. (next to Subway Restaurant). For information contact the Space at 250-567-4879.

Resource Centres Resource centres are available in both campuses with access to the complete CNC library, public computers and internet access. Resource Centres offer a quiet place to do homework or work on on-line courses.
