If you’re over 65, or retired, you can now visit The Spring more easily with our new transport scheme.
Book for one of the matinee films listed with the bus icon and we’ll pick you up at 12.45pm from Hayling Island Library or Waterlooville Library on the day of the performance. You’ll be met by a friendly Spring volunteer who will accompany you and others in a taxi, provided by Andicars of Havant, and then drop you back to the library after the film.
Let us know when booking your ticket that you’d like to take advantage of the free transport service. There are a maximum of 7 spaces available per trip. Spaces must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
If you are joining us at the Hayling Island Library pick-up point, please do not park in the library car park as this is for library patrons only.
This scheme is run in conjunction with Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Library Service and Andicars.

FILM FRIDAYSIn the Langstone Room
Introducing Film Fridays, our new series of monthly film documentary screenings. These will be shown in the Langstone Room thanks to new screening equipment provided by the British Film Institute’s Neighbourhood Cinema Fund.
We have tried to make your experience even better with some new chairs in the Langstone Room.
A contribution towards the new seating was kindly made in memory of Josie Harper, who loved The Spring.
Each film screening will begin with a short introduction and there will be a chance to stay around afterwards for an informal post-screening discussion.
