Fees & Deadlines Fees: $20 per solo and $10 per ensemble member. Entry Deadline: April 1, 2018. • Directors will still be able to access the system between
April 2 and May 4 to submit LATE entries • Please note that late fees will apply if you register after
April 1 deadline. • performances will be assigned to what times are
available and there will be no guarantee that entries made after April 1 will be scheduled.
Late and Add-on Entry Deadline: May 4, 2018. If your school did not make any entries prior to April 1 deadline, any subsequent entries will be considered as late. Late entry fee: $20 per Event (per solo and per ensemble member), which will be in a addition to the on-time entry fees of $20 per solo and $10 per ensemble member.
UTRGV Percussion Studio can provide the following equipment: timpani, chimes, glockenspiel, vibraphone, xylophone, marimba, concert toms, snare drum, suspended cymbals, crash cymbals, temple blocks, cymbal and snare drum hardware, congas, and bongo.
The UTRGV School of Music Percussion Studio is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Percussion Festival to be held on Friday, May 11, 2018, 9am-4pm in the Performing Arts Complex, 1201 W. University Dr. Edinburg, TX 78541. The festival will provide schools with an opportunity to compete against other participating schools in the solo and/or ensemble categories. This will be a great opportunity for your school to be evaluated prior to the upcoming UIL State Solo and Ensemble Contest. Additionally, participants will also have an opportunity to work with outstanding artists, Jonathan Ovalle and Neeraj Mehta of the PERCUNOVA PERCUSSION DUO. We hope you can join us for what promises to be an incredible day of percussion activities.
