ABOUT THE AUTHORClémentine Beauvais was born and raised in France, and is currently a lecturer in English and Education at the University of York (UK). Very active on social media and blogs, she is a real contemporary young woman, who looks at her generation’s social relationships with acuteness. At only 29, she has already published more than 20 books, amongst which La Pouilleuse, Comme des images, and the multi-awarded, best-selling Les Petites Reines ( The piglets) with Sarbacane. Her success was confirmed the year after with the splendid Songe à la Douceur, which has received an unanimous welcome.
