Brenda Burns, President Allan Reuter Centre and William E. Pautler Centre Operating Board The Allan Reuter Centre had a busy winter with many well attended activities, enjoyed by all. Many were sold out so when you view the upcoming Special Events mark your calendar and don’t wait to register!

As we welcome spring the Allan Reuter Centre has planned exciting events for your enjoyment. Check out our Hawaiian Party, Chesley Lake Dinner, and new this year Rhubarb Social. Check out the many drop-in programs and spring activities at both the Allan Reuter and William Pautler Centres. A warm welcome to everyone!

Effie Nielsen, President David Durward Centre Operating Board Things continue to flow along at a good pace. The retirements at City Hall resulted in changes at DDC. The new staff is settling in. Betty Jones who was the face and the mainstay of the front office is no longer here. We wish Betty a healthy and happy retirement. Debra Gilpin worked for a while with the DDC Operating Board before she also retired. Best wishes to Debra. Once again the annual bake sale and the Christmas Shop were enjoyed by many. The new programs introduced since last spring are going strong. Remember to get your 5 Free Card and take a look at the programs. Plan to attend the Annual General Meeting in May.

Marilyn Pearce, President Ted Wake Centre Operating Board

There are a lot of activities and sports going on at TWC and the other centres year round where you can warm up in the cold weather with fun activities and lively conversations, or cool down on those hot summer days. Our Spring events include our Trivia Pursuit March 24, a hot breakfast April 11, a bake sale May 8, and a Bocce Game and BBQ May 23.

My term as President comes to an end in May and I wish to thank our Board Members, Special Events Committee members and City Staff for all their help and support.

Our AGM on May 30 will welcome new Board Members and thank our exiting Board Members and will be hosted by the Ted Wake Centre. Hope to see everyone there.
