• YoungAthletesorAthletesrequiringspecialassistance,willbeallowedoneChaperonetoaccompanythemintothelockerroomsateventtimetohelpgetskateson.ThentheChaperonemustimmediatelyexittheareaandmovetothedesignatedparentarenaseating.

• Awardswillbegivenoutimmediatelyfollowthepostingofresultsofthefinalizationofresultsonthewebsite.Medalswillbeawardedforthe1stthrough4thplacefinishersinalleventswiththeexceptionofthePre-Preliminaryandbeloweventswhichwillawardmedalsto1stthrough6thplace.

• ThemaskMUSTbewornatalltimesinthebuildingandmustcoverthenoseandmouthandsecuredundertheirchinwhileinafacility.Skatersmayremovethemasksonlywhileontheicesurface.

• Skatersmayonlybringwhattheycancarry;astheymustcarryitemswiththemastheymovefromlocationtolocation.

• Chaperoneswillbedivertedawayfromtheskaterflowintodesignatedseatingareasinthebuilding(labelled“ParentWaitingArea”).

• Ambassadorswillescortgroupsofathletesthroughoutthebuilding–officewarmup,lockerroomtoputskateson,andrinksideasthemonitor.

• Only15-20minutesisallocatedforoff-Icewarmupandgettingskatesonpereacheventandpracticeicesession.

• Eachgroupwillenterinadesignatedlockerroomtoputontheirskatesandstaywarmduringtheirevent.

• Skaterswillenterandexittheicefromthehockeyboxesattachedtotheirassignedlockerroom.

• Skatersmaychoosetowaitinthehockeyboxesduringtheirgrouporremainintheassignedlockerroom

• Afterthelastskaterofthegroupisfinished,skaterswillquicklyremovetheirskatesandpickupbelongingsbeforefollowingtheirAmbassadoroutofthebuilding.

• Resultswillbepostedonlineassoonaspossibleaftertheeventiscomplete.• Awardswillbehandedoutafterresultsarepostedtothewebsite• Skatersandchaperonesmustleavethefacilityuntilonlineresultsareliveandmayonly

returntocollectmedalsafterresultsareposted.• Tissuesandwaterbottlesarepermittedbutmustbedisposedofbytheskateroutside

SynchronizedSkaters• Teamsmustcheckinwithregistrationandhavetheirtemperaturechecked.• Thereisnospaceinsidelargeenoughtoaccommodateofficewarmup,teamswillneed

Chaperone/Parents

• Two(2)chaperonesperregisteredathletewillbeadmittedfortheathlete’sactualcompetitiontime(noaccesstopracticerink).Thechaperonemustbeovertheageof18andanimmediatefamilymemberasdefinedinU.S.FigureSkating’sSafeSportHandbook.

• Socialdistancingmustbemaintainedatalltimes,weaskallchaperonestomaintainsocialdistancingwhileinthebuilding(stands,hallways,etc.)

• Chaperoneswillbedivertedtoarenaseatingimmediatelyafterenteringthefacility(specialconsiderationswillbemadeforyoungskatersorskatersrequiringspecialassistance)

• Arenaseatingwillbeavailableinthedesignatedsectionsonlyandrotatedforsanitationpurposes.

• Chaperoneswillnotbeabletofreelywanderthebuilding,pleaserespecttherules• Oncetheskaterhasskatedtheirprogramandthegroupisfinished,Chaperonesmust

leavetheseatingareaandmeettheirskatersattheAwardsareaoutsidethefacility.Skaterswillnotbeallowedinthestands.

• Westillhaveseatingof3sections,fiverowsof30feetineachsectionsowewouldhave300linearfeetofseatingforthetwoparentsallowedwitheachskater(roughly33spectatorseatswereavailable)

Coaches• Temperaturewillbechecked&screeningwillbeadministereddaily.• Masksmustalwaysbewornwhileinthefacility.• Weaskthatcoachesdonothangaroundtherinkiftheydonothaveskaterspresent.

However,therewillbesomeoccasionswerethebreaksareshortandtherewillbeasmallholdingareanearthewestrinkforcoachestobrieflywait.

• Coachesmustsocialdistancealongtheboardsduringtheeventinthehockeyboxes.Pleasebemindfulofthosearoundyou.

• PleasestaywithyourskaterandAmbassadorinthebuilding.Ifyouneedtomakequickchangesbetweenskaters,pleaseinformyourAmbassador.

wipeddownwithdisinfectantPracticeIceProcessPracticeicewillbeavailablebutlimitedinnature.Sessionswillhaveamaximumof12skaters.Practiceicegroupswillalsoberequiredtofollowthescreeningrequirements(temperaturetaken,check-inatthegym).

• Numberofskatersallowedoneachpracticesessionisreduced/limitedforsafety.(Max12skaterspersession)

• Officewarmupislimitedto10minutes,with10minutestoputonskatesinthelockerroombeforethepracticesession.

• Lockerroomsareavailableforputtingskatesononly,pleasecomedressedandreadytoskate.

• AllSkatersandCoacheswillberequiredtoexittheiceandleavethebuildingpromptlyoncethepracticeicesessioniscomplete.

• Itwillnotbepossibletocutthroughfromrinktorinkinsidethebuildingaftertheskater’spracticeice,youmustexitthebuildingandre-enterthroughtheflowprocess.

OfficialsAllofficialswillneedtoenterthroughthegymtobescreenedeverydayandeverytimetheyenterthebuilding(seemapbelow).Wekindlyrequestthatofficialsbringtheirownsupplieswherepossible(clipboards,pencils,pens,etc.).Asmallamountofextrasupplieswillbeavailable.Officialsareaskedtosubmitexpenseselectronicallytothecompetitiontreasurer,CherylBrubaker(cherylbru@msn.com)assoonaspossible,pleaseincludepicturesofnecessaryreceiptsforsubmission.Alljudgesandtech.panelofficialswillreceivetheirpapersforthedayinapacketwiththeirnameonit,alongwiththetechnicalrequirements.

Judges,technicalofficials,andtechnicalaccountantswillbeinthestands,notinthehockeyboxes.Therewillbetablesplacedinthestandsallowing6feetofdistancebetweeneachofficial.Twosectionsofbleachers(outoffivesections)willbeblockedoffjustforofficials.Wewillprovidestadiumseatsforeachofficialtositcomfortably.Aftereachpanelisfinished,sanitizingwipeswillbeprovidedtowipedowntheareaincludingseatingandcomputerpanel.

Announcersandmusicpersonnelwillbestationedinthestandswithabluetoothmicandcomputersetup.InColorado,theannouncersarepermittedtoannouncewiththeirmaskspulleddownforactualannouncingonly–underthe“PublicSpeaking”exception.Hospitality:TheupstairsRandellroomwillbeusedforofficials’hospitality.Longtableswillbearrangedintheroomtoallow6ft.betweenallofthetables.Oneofficialwillsitateachendofthetable,givingthemasafedistancefromeachother.Mealswillbepreparedasa"grabandgo"typeandarriveatthetimeofeachjudge'sbreak.Theycaneatintheroomortakeitoutontheopen-airbalcony(weatherdepending)

• RegistrationDesk(1-2).Withnorealregistration,thisismoreacentralpointforquestionsandinformation,stationedinthegymandatthestartoftheflow.Allvolunteersandofficialswillneedtheirtemperaturecheckedhere.

• Hospitality(1-2).Withallprepackagedfood,thisismoreofacleaningrole,organizingfooddelivery,andkeepinguponsnackanddrinks.

• Runners(1-2):Onlyneedarunnerfor6.0events,IJSisallon-line.• OutsideFacilityMonitor(1):Thisjobistomakesuretheskatersareorganizedandcome

inattheappropriatetimeandlocation.Inaddition,theyareneededtokeeppeoplefromminglingorgoingindirectlywithoutgoingintothegymforregistration

Eachvolunteerwillbetestedatthedoor,andrequiredtosigntheCOVIDwaiver.Novolunteerroomwillbeprovided,thosetakingabreakareaskedtoleaveandcomebackandberetested.Wewillnotbeabletoprovidehospitalityforanyvolunteers;however,weareworkingtofindfoodtrucksthatwouldbeoutside.Ambassadorstepchart:

4) Onceallskatersarecheckedin,anditistimetoproceedtowarmuparea,escortyourgroupoutofthegymandintothefrontdoorsofthearena.Remindthemaboutmasks,sanitationareas&staying6ftapart.Thewarmupareaforeachrinkis:

a. WestRink–balletroomb. EastRink–inthelobbybetweentherinks–itwillbemarkedoff

Havetheparentssitintheparentarea,outsideofthewarmupzone.Coachesmaybewiththeirskaters.

5) Whenwarmupiscomplete,escortyourgrouptothedesignatedlockerroomareatoputonskates.Thisiswheretheparentsgoupstairstothebleachers,unlessthereisarequesttotietheskater’sskates.Ifthishappens,instructtheparentwheretheyneedtogowhentheyaredone.

6) Whiletheskatersareputtingontheirskates,checkwiththeAmbassadorofthegroupaheadgetanideaforthetimingwhenyourgroupcanenter,andhowitrelatestoyourflowtime.Groupswillenterthehockeyboxestoentertheice.

a. Bringyourskatersintothehockeyboxes,lineupskatersandcoachesalongtheboards.Skaterswillnotneedtobringalloftheirstuffwiththemintotherink.Theymayleavetheirbagsinthelockerroomandenterthelockerroomwhileotherskaterscompeteafterthewarmup.

7) Afterskatingforthegroupiscomplete,eachskaterwillthenneedtogobackintothelockerroomtotakeskatesoff,maskon,andwaittoleavetherinkwitheveryoneelsewhenthegroupisdone.

8) Proceedoutofthelockerroomandbackdownthehallway,andouttheexitdooratthefrontofthebuilding.Remindyourgrouptoleavethebuildingandcheckthewebsiteforresults.
