HOW SHOULD WE SERVE GURU?

Learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth..

Importance of Guru - A Story

Once there was a guru named Ramanujacharya. His disciple was kidimbiandan. One day Ramanujacharya went to the temple and wasworshiping Lord Narayana. Then, Andan came in the temple and was worshiping something

else. It wasn't Vishnu. Ramanujacharya became curious and asked Andan what he was worshiping.

Andan said, oh guru! I am worshiping your pathukas. Ramanujacharya asked, why ?!. Andan replied Vishnu may be the lord for you but you are the lord for me. Because without you I can not reach any God.

• Guru understands the language of God so he translates the information to us.

• If God is the cook, guru is the one who makes the prasadam available to us.

• While the light of God is all around, if we are trapped in a dark room, guru is the one who opens the door for us to see the light.

How does Guru help us?
