HoDs Meeting

Our beloved Principal convened a HoDs meeting through Zoom

App on 13.04.2020 to review the progress of the activities already

planned and decided to continue to conduct online revision and

coaching classes in a scheduled manner to the students apart

from the webinars and guest lectures. Appreciated BCA Dept for

conducting quiz to create awareness about Corona virus with E-

certificate which is receiving an excellent response among the

public. In a single day 3000+ have received the certificate (only if

they have passed the quiz).

PRINCIPAL’S DESK



Principal convened HoDs meeting on 07.04.2020 to review the

progress of the points discussed in the last meeting and

discussed the best practices followed in other leading universities/

institutions across the world. Planned to start holistic education

cell in the campus to provide courses in professional and personal

ethics, team building, positive attitude, responsible usage of

digital media, integrity and accountability, social responsibility,

personal well being, appreciation of differences, effective

communication skills (both in speaking & writing) and also basics

of programming languages to non computer science students.



Convened a meeting with all the HoDs on 04.04.2020 through Zoom

App with the following agenda:

Online model exam result analysis and the consolidated internal

marks

Subject Allotment for the AY 2020-21.

Academic budget preparation

Best practices followed in top universities/ institutions to be listed

and discussed

Video lecturing, Guest lectures, career guidance programs for the first

and second year students using zoom/Hangout App to be conducted

during the lockdown period.

In what way SKACAS is going to be unique and different from others

and to be the best this year.

COVID - 19

General Awareness Quiz

The prime factor in hosting this General Awareness Quiz

is to empower the Citizens with the right knowledge and

precautions at the time of COVID-19 Pandemic. The key

to knockdown this lockdown is the awareness about the

spread of the virus. This outbreak of the virus has

upended life in unimaginable ways. In an effort to create

awareness among the citizens, Sri Krishna Adithya

College of Arts and Science has hosted this quiz which

can be attempted for free with an e-certificate. This

awareness had an excellence response among the public

and more than 4000 persons have received E-Certificate.

Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science was the forerunner to shift

the conduct of examinations through Online mode amid the Coronavirus

lockdown. Our Institution conducted the Model Examination through Online

which was highly welcoming and well appreciated by the Principals of many

Arts Colleges and followed the same process in their Institutions too. Our

students have given positive feedback about the Online method of

examinations as they were able to utilize their time productively under the

COVID 19 pandemic.

I am Aiswarya from 2nd BCA. I express my gratitude to our

department for conducting a Webinar on “Embrace the

Opportunities” by Premkumar on Apr 14,2020. He trained us

on interview skills, opportunities in IT sector, technology in

demand and discuss about the project. This session was

interesting and informative.

Online test is the good initiative by the Institution during the

lockdown. It is very helpful to revise our portions for the

semester end examination by being safe at home.

I have attended the webinar for the subject Corporate

Accounting on the topic Liquidation of Companies given by

Gopalakrishna Raju Sir. The webinar was very interesting.

Sir taught us in a very understandable manner. He gave a

detailed information about Liquidation, its process and list

to be included in statement of affairs which were very

helpful for our career. The model exams conducted through

online was very interesting and we had a new experience.

Thanks to the Management, Principal, HoD and other faculty

for arranging exams through online mode during outbreak

of Corona Virus.

what we have learnt. We could also gather many points about

very effective.It created a practice of Writing. Online mode

assessment made us to know the advanced techniques of

answering the questions. The multiple choice questions were

evaluated immediately after the response and this mode of

assessment was very time consuming. We had a rich

experience of attending Online exams.

concept of data virtualization and its importance clearly. The

Resource Person shared his experience about the training

and working environment in the corporate sector which was

also very informative.

The Human Rights Session was very useful to recall the

portions even in this quarantine time. During this session, we

discussed on spending the lockdown days in a productive

way as possible and also about the online learning resources.

and India had to face a lockdown as well; that was the time
