PARISH NOTICES MASS DIARY 2021 Mass diary for 2021 is now FULLY booked. If you wish to book intention(s), it will be forwarded to other Spiritan Churches for the month(s) intended. Please email your intention(s) to the Parish Office and NOT the Priests. All contact details are available on our Parish website and the newsletter.

Please note the Mass Diary for 2022 has NOT yet been released. Therefore, no Mass intentions will be accepted just yet. Further announcements will be made in due course.

ST ANTHONY’S NOVENA St Anthony's novena will resume weekly from Tuesday 7th September 2021 at 7pm in the Church.

MITIGATING FACTORS IN CHURCH The Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales insists that “it is important to mitigate against the risks of virus transmission.” As a result of this development, “Churches should continue to provide hand sanitiser at entrances and exits, and face coverings are strongly recommended to be worn by those in church. Ensuring people wear face coverings properly will reduce aerosol or droplet spread” (Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales).

ONLINE OFFERING/DONATION TO THE CHURCH With the vast majority of our parishioners currently participating from their respective homes, during the celebration of Sunday Masses, it has become critically important for us to adopt online offering and/or donation to the church, especially through Standing Order. A new Standing Order Form, which the Diocese sent to us recently, has been uploaded to the parish website. Online offering/donation to the church will help our parish to continue to fulfil its financial obligations, including the ongoing maintenance of the Church, Presbytery, Parish Centre, and Parish Office.

LIVE STREAMING OF MASSES This is to inform everyone that the daily live streaming of Masses in our parish is as follows:

Monday to Thursday at 6pm, Friday 7pm Saturday

at 6.15pm and Sunday at 10.30am. The link to the live-streaming of these celebrations is https://tinyurl.com/ssmmlive

FEELING UNWELL? We kindly ask anybody who feels unwell to stay home and worship through the live-streaming method. Our daily Masses are streamed live for the benefit of all who cannot make it to the church for different reasons. It is important that we remember to be considerate and sensitive to the feelings of other parishioners. Coronavirus cases are rising again in our society. Therefore, please stay at home if you feel unwell. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

WEEKLY BENEDICTION We will resume weekly Benediction from Saturday 25th September 2021 at 4.30pm.

This attracts rodents (which are very difficult to get rid of). The Church is thoroughly cleaned by volunteers, so please respect the hard work of the volunteers and cleanliness of the Church. Please note, the

stewards will be asking anyone found eating in the Church to take the food outside.
