What is SLAMIS?
• SLAMIS is a web-based Army program designed to combine the nonstandard LIN process for all Army units whether Active or Reserve Component.
• SLAMIS has been implemented to give the Army Logistical community a better way to track the location of assets.

SLAMIS request process
• Upon receipt of SLAMIS request form, SLAMIS P.O.C. will verify that the request must be forwarded for approval and also that the information is valid. If the information is not valid or the request is incomplete, the request will be returned.
• SLAMIS P.O.C. will also send the requestor a copy of SLAMIS request with document number.
• Upon receipt of SLAMIS LIN/NSN approval or disapproval of the request, the unit will be forwarded an email with the LIN/NSN or the reason for disapproval.
