SSPC Renewed as Authorized Provider forThe International Association for ContinuingEducation and Training (IACET)September 12, 2011
Pittsburgh, September 12, 2011 SSPC: The Society for Protective Coatings is pleased to announcethat The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has renewed itsauthorization of SSPC as an Authorized Provider. IACET Authorized Providers are the onlyorganizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The recognition periodextends for five years, and includes all programs offered or created during that time. This means thatcoatings professionals who complete SSPC Training & Certification courses, will continue to receiveCEU’s.
In order to achieve its initial Authorized Provider status, SSPC had to complete a rigorous applicationprocess, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to theANSI/IACET 12007 Standard addressing the design, development, administration, and evaluation ofits programs.
