Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plas c baseball (similar to a whiffl e ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, compe ve game for experienced players.

It is a fl exible program that provides communi es with resources to address their unique needs. The C.D.B.G. program allows townships, ci es and

coun es to focus funding where it is most needed.

Takin’ it to the Streets was created to provide fun within a neighborhood that fi ts the criteria of this grant program. Without C.D.B.G. the recrea on department would not be able to provide this fun unique experience for the community.

PROJECT YOUTHThis is a community par cipa on outreach program. If you are looking to make a dona on for a great cause, this is it. This program will give children who are from families of low to moderate income a chance to par cipate in the various recrea on programs at our facility. Applicants seeking to apply for this Scholarship can call Director, Jennifer Wright at (734) 699-8921. Scholarships will not be granted un l the Recrea on Department receives funds.

Full refunds will be issued if the Recrea on Department cancels a program. If you are seeking a refund, refundswill be given during the fi rst week of the class/programONLY.
