Grad Support & staying involved

At St. Aloysius, most alumni we see on a regular basis are here to complete some community service hours for their school. It’s beneficial for you and for us, because it fulfills your school requirements while providing extra help that is much appreciated. What else does Graduate Support provide? Last year, we created a Facebook group, so we can keep in touch with all of you, but also so you can keep in touch and reconnect with each other. We also had a successful college fair, as well as a college retreat in Mt. Manresa in Staten Island. The retreat was coordinated by all four Nativity Miguel Schools in New York City. Finally, two graduates (Cora Brown and Yero Pack, shown below) were recognized for all their hard work over the past four years at our Annual Scholarship Dinner. This year, we could still use your help with community service hours, but we are looking to shake things up a bit. Earlier in the year, we recieved a special invitation from the Cristo Rey network to attend their college fair, which had over fifty colleges in attendance. After the Christmas break, we are planning to have an alumni dinner and a movie night. We are also working to make our computer lab available a couple of times a week for alumni. In adition, we are planning to have another college retreat, which will be open to juniors and sophomores. We will be working to develop other events, and your suggestions are welcome. In the meantime, continue to do well in school and let us know how we can help.

Keep in Touch!
