THE ASSUMPTION OF MARY is a Holy Day of Obligation and is Wednesday, August 15. We will have a Vigil Mass on Tuesday, August 14 at 5:15 PM, and Masses on Wednesday will be at 6:45 AM, 12:10 PM, and 6:00PM. Please note that this is a new schedule as compared to our holy days in the past. All Liturgical Ministers are asked to volunteer and can sign up in the Sacristy or contact Samantha at the Parish Office: 701-237-6063 or at [email protected]. LOOKING FOR SOME SUMMER READING? We have just re-stocked our Lending Library bookcase, located outside the main parish office. Check it out and feel free to borrow whatever book catches your eye. We have many great topics - from papal encyclicals to day-to-day spirituality, there’s something for everyone!

FOOD COLLECTION SUNDAY: TODAY! Thank you to all who have donated so generously to our parish food pantry! We could still use Mac-n-Cheese, canned goods (fruit, tuna, chicken, corn, green beans, baked beans, carrots, and peas, soups of all kinds). We also need breakfast cereals, peanut butter, jellies, crackers, and juices, Toothpaste and toothbrushes, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, diapers, and laundry soap is often requested. Your donations help our neighbors in need with basic day to day essentials. Thank you for your ongoing generosity. CONFRATERNITY OF CHRISTIAN MOTHERS of St. Anthony's would like to invite all mothers to join us for a park play date. Come and get to know other mothers from our parish on Friday, August 10, 10:00 AM to noon at Gooseberry Park in Moorhead. Bring a friend! FM I.D. 9:16 is hiring two individuals to serve as Director & Assistant Director of Children's Ministry, a ministry for children of young adults attending monthly Disciples' Nights. Candidates must be available the first Thursday of every month from 5:15-9:00 PM. Responsibilities include: planning and leading activities and recruiting and overseeing volunteers. The Director will work approximately 10 hours per month; the assistant director will work 6 hours per month. This is a great job for college students, parents, grandparents or any individuals who enjoy working with kids! VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Birthright, Moorhead, is seeking volunteers to respond to the needs of women who may be experiencing an untimely pregnancy or struggling to provide for their babies.
