ST. ANTHONY’S FEAST DAY - SATURDAY, JUNE 13, 2020

Picnic Postponed - The Knights of Columbus Council has decided to postpone our traditional parish feast day picnic (on June 13 yearly) until August this summer. We pray that by August we may come together safely and joyfully to celebrate our parish family! Please remember that we can still honor the feast of St. Anthony with our prayers! You can sign up for daily reflections through June 13 at https://info.franciscanmedia.org/st-anthony-novena-signup Drive-Thru TREAT Pick Up at 6:00 PM - Although there will not be a feast day picnic this year, we invite you to drive thru the St. Anthony’s parking lot on Saturday, June 13, beginning at 6:00 pm, for a drive-thru treat pickup to celebrate the day! Please

plan to enter the parking lot from the 10th Street side and exit through the east side on 9th Street. We ask that you remain in your vehicles, and we will hand you a small treat through your car window as you come through. *These treats will also be available after the Saturday 5:00 PM Mass as you leave the church for those who attend. Plenary Indulgence - Don’t forget that you can receive a plenary indulgence by going to any church on

their feast day to pray (plan for St. Anthony’s on Saturday, June 13!), and then praying for the Pope’s intentions (one Our Father and one Hail Mary satisfies this), receiving Communion and going to Reconciliation within several days of the indulgenced act. You must be in a state of grace at the time and have the disposition toward the detachment of sin. The Pope’s prayer intention for the month of June is “the Way of the Heart - we pray that all those who suffer may find their way in life, allowing themselves to be touched by the heart of Jesus.”

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL #7083 TO MEET MONDAY, JUNE 8 Our Knights of Colum-bus will meet this Monday, June 8 at 7:00 PM, upstairs in room 206 at St. Anthony’s. Please remember to bring and wear a mask. All parish men are welcome to come and see if they are being called to serve God and their parish through this great group of parish leaders. FINDING GOD IN THE MIDST OF CHAOS God promised he would never leave us. Can you feel His presence in the events of 2020? Do you empathize with Job? Join us on Tuesday, June 9, at 7:00 PM at St. Anthony’s, in the Church, for an hour of scripture, prayer, reflection and sharing on how God is helping us through scandal, coronavirus, racial unrest, and vandalism. BAZAAR COMMITTEE TO MEET Our Fall Bazaar is right around the corner! We will have a planning meeting on Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 PM, in the Social Hall, to start the conversation about how things will look this year for the bazaar. All current chairpersons should plan to attend. Any newcomers are also welcome, especial-ly if you are interested in becoming a chair-person or would like to be more actively involved in planning the bazaar. Contact the Parish Office for more information.

*Please remember: still at this time, NO ONE is obligated to attend Mass.

If You Are Planning to Attend Mass, Please Be Mindful of the Following:

For Sunday Masses: Seating will be limited because of efforts for social distancing. After we have reached capacity, you are in-

vited to attend Mass from your vehicle in the parking lot. You will be able to livestream the 9:00 AM Mass on your own device, and Communion will be distributed from the Main Entrance for that Mass only.

You will enter through the Main Entrance of the Church. Upon entering, you will be directed by an usher as to where to sit. Please sit behind the blue piece of tape marked in your pew. Pews that should be left empty are marked with red tape.

At the conclusion of Mass, the ushers will dismiss each pew, and you will exit the building via the Northwest doors.

Everyone (over the age of 2) who enters the Church doors, MUST be wearing a mask. Anyone not wearing a mask will be asked to attend Mass from the parking lot.

Everyone will be asked to maintain a social distance of 6 feet from one another the entire time they are on site. Please abide by posted signs and do not enter areas of the church that are blocked off.

Communion will be received in the hand. Please bring your own hand sanitizer to use prior to Communion and plan to remain seated or kneeling as Father brings Communion to each person in the pew.

For Daily Masses: Ushers will not be available because of limited numbers. Please follow the above guidelines, and plan to

observe social distancing during arrival and exit.

Thank you for your patience and char ity as we try to maintain a safe environment for all who come to St. Anthony’s. The above guidelines, along with the weekly Mass schedule will continue to

evolve over the upcoming weeks. Please watch for further updates.
