School Term Planner 8-9
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:
Dear Parents, Children & Friends,
Welcome to the start of Term Four. We hope everyone had an enjoyable two-week break and has returned refreshed. When walking around this week most students seemed very excited to be back at school to see their teachers and to 'catch-up' with their friends. Thank you parents, for sending your children back to school looking so good in their Summer uniforms. It’s always pleasing to see parents supporting their children to wear their uniform with pride. Please ensure all uniform items e.g. hats, jumpers, etc. have a clearly written name on them to avoid unclaimed ‘lost’ items. Children are permitted to wear their “Sports Uniform” on the days they have Physical Education and on Monday’s for Dance Lessons. The Term Four Planner has been included with this week’s newsletter and is available on the school website. As always we welcome and very much appreciate the involvement of parents in our school activities and look forward to another very enjoyable and rewarding term. Some of the more important dates to keep in mind for this term are:
Grandparents Day: 27th October 2017
Interschool Athletics Carnival: 1st November 2017
Year 6 Camp: 6th November to 8th November 2017
Parish Fete: 12th November 2017
School AGM: 29th November 2017
School Christmas Concert: 1st December 2017
Year 6 Graduation Mass: 5th December 2017
Students Last Day of School: 8th December 2017 The Combined Sports Day was a great addition to the school calendar and well received by parents ,staff and students. The day ran very smoothly and was a credit to Mrs Schelfhout .I also wish to thank parents and staff for their generous support .The year six student leaders were outstanding in their care of the younger children. The new Parent and Friends tents provided some great shelter. On Monday we welcomed Melanie Griffiths from Dance to You Drop back to our school .We are indeed fortunate to have such a talented ex-student to help us prepare for the end of the year concert. Students are to wear their sports uniform on Mondays for Dance. The P&F’s financial support for this initiative is greatly appreciated.
Wishing you all a wonderful week.
God Bless,
Greg Green Principal

Prayer
Dear God, Speak gently in my silence. When the loud outer noises
of my surroundings, and the loud inner noises
of my fears keep pulling me away from you,
help me to trust that you are still there even when I am unable
to hear you.
"Come to me, all you who are overburdened,
and I will give you rest... for I am gentle
and humble of heart."
Let that
loving voice be my guide.
Amen.
SCHOOL FEES
Semester Two fees are now Overdue. Any family experiencing difficulties with payment is asked to contact the Principal or Finance Officer.
Three Year Old Kindergarten fees for Semester Two are now Overdue. Reminder statements have been sent and we ask that all accounts are settled by Friday 20th October The pre-kindergarten programme is reliant entirely on the funding from our parent fees and is not supported by any funding system. Therefore, non-payment of fees jeopardises the successful running of the programme.
