Participation: Participation is not limited.
Entry:
Open to all fencers with valid 2017-2018 FIE License. No fencer is allowed to take part in an official event of the
FIE unless he or she is at least 13 years old on 1 January in the year of the competition.
Entries of fencers and referees can only be made at the FIE website, www.fie.org, respecting the deadlines
specified in the FIE Rules.
Entry fee: Individual competition: 230 HRK (30€)
The entry fee is paid at registration before the start of the competition.
St Duje’s Cup 2018.
Referee Obligation:
Each country is required to send FIE qualified referees in accordance with FIE rule o.25:
1–4 fencers - No obligation to provide a referee
5–9 fencers - One referee (FIE A or FIE B)
10 or more fencers - Two referees (FIE A or FIE B).
* The name(s) of the referee(s) (who must have an FIE category in the weapon of the competition for which they
are entered) must be notified via the FIE website 7 days before the competition (midnight, Lausanne time).
* Should a national federation not provide the required number of referees, a fine according to FIE Organisation
Rules (cf o.31, table of financial penalties and fines) will be inflicted on it.
Non respect of quota is sanctioned by 1000 € for every missing referee per competition and shall be paid to the
Organiser at the same time as the information is sent to the Organizer (according to FIE Rule o.25.1.b.)
Formula:
According to FIE regulations, formula for junior competitions. One round of pools, from which 20-30% of fencers
will be eliminated, followed by Direct Elimination without repechage.
Prizes:
Cups for 1st
, 2nd
and 3rd
places assured by Organisers both for male and female winners.
500€ for 1st
place - male title winner and 500€ for 1st
place - female title winner assured by Official sponsor.
Sponsor gifts for 2nd
and 3rd
places.
Accommodation and Transport:
All delegations must arrange for their own accommodation.
