“The one like a Son of Man received dominion, glory,
and kingship; all peoples serve him...his kingship shall
not be destroyed.” (Dan 7:14) “Behold he is coming on
the clouds...the Alpha and the Omega...the one who is
and who was and who is to come…” (Rev 1:8)
Christ the King! These two readings speak eloquently
of our Lord. He is the king of the universe. Think of the
words we pray in the Lord’s Prayer. Thy Kingdom
Come! Are we ready to permit the Lord’s kingdom?
What can we do to better the kingdom? Can we with
confidence say: Thy will be done & Thy kingdom
come?
Christus Vincit! Christus Regnat!
Christus Imperat!

ST. LUKE’S HOME HEALTH & HOSPICE
On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus.
“Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal
life?”
“What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you
read it?”
27
He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
strength and with all your mind’
[a]
; and, ‘Love your
neighbor as yourself.’” The Good Samaritan spent his time,
attention and money on the man in the gutter. The others
saw the man, and passed by on the other side.
Please don’t pass by on the other side. St Luke’s Hospice
needs compassionate, caring hospice volunteers to visit and
sit with hospice patients, relieving their caregivers to go
shopping, have lunch with a friend, or just have some quiet
time. Call Marie Sharp at 208-814-7603 or email at
[email protected] for more information.

-Padre Joseph Lustig
¡¡¡Viva Cristo Rey!!!
