In the second reading, Paul reminds
the Corinthians of the collection the commu-
nities in Greece were taking to help the
struggling community in Jerusalem (he men-
tioned it in the final chapter of his first letter
to them). The reasons for the collection were
twofold: we are all part of the same faith and
we should be grateful for our blessings.
As we celebrate Independence Day
this week, with all that is going on in our
country, we have still have an abundance of
reasons to be grateful. We pray for our coun-
try and elected officials. May God guide us
always to be a shining light in our world. May
we be grateful for the opportunities we have
and may we share them with others.

port this mission. For further information call Karl Corbin

interested, please contact Diana Grandy at 208-420-6682 or
[email protected] for more information.
PARENTS OF SMALL CHILDREN
Please remember we have a cry room in the Church. We
realize that little ones become restless. It is only respectful
and courteous to others participating at Mass to allow them
to be able to concentrate during the liturgy. Thank you.
MASS ATTIRE
As the temperatures become warmer, there is the tempta-
tion to attend Mass “as you are.” Please remember that we
are coming to meet our Lord. Tuxedos and ball gowns are
not necessary, but it’s always good to look nice.

GRACIAS
No
do o muy inquietos.
¡Jesús te espera, no
faltes!
caminar. Todos se quedaron asombrados.
