Grade School PSR K-8 Christmas Eve Mass
The PSR children will participate in the Christmas Eve Mass at 4:30pm. We will process in at the beginning of Mass and present a “gift” for baby Jesus at the Altar. At the end of Mass, the children will sing Away in a Manger. Please allow your child to participate if you are attending this Mass.
Funding is available for Catholic School Tuition Assistance Currently, 18 of our 24 Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Birmingham are receiving Tuition Assistance from the State of Alabama, which for this school year totals $3,722,000!! This amount and more will be available to fund Catholic education in the next school year if our Parishioners re-direct up to 50% of their State Income Taxes to the organization, Scholarships for Kids. This does
not involve making a donation; rather it involves directing
half of your expected 2016 State Income Tax payment to scholarships for Kids and directing the other half to the State of Alabama. This must be done before the end of this calendar year for the money to be used next year. Please visit the web site: scholarshipsforkids.org to watch a brief instructional video on how to set up an account so that you can re-direct 1/2 of your State Income Tax payment to be used for Catholic Education.
Our Knights of Columbus are asking your help in providing CHRISTMAS MEALS to those less fortunate than ourselves during this holiday season. A big thank you to all who have made donations already; because of you, we were able to
provide Thanksgiving meals! Donation Forms are in the Vestibule on the shelf for your convenience.
