CONFESSIONS: Saturday at 4:00 to 5:00 pm and upon request.
BAPTISM: First and third Sundays at 1:00 pm. Parents may contact the Rectory to arrange for the baptism.
MATRIMONY: Since Catholic marriage requires a time of preparation, arrange-ments should begin at least six months before the proposed date of the wedding to allow for the Marriage Preparation Program. Contact the Rectory to begin the process.
PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK: If you are planning to enter the hospital for surgery, experiencing a prolonged or serious illness, or homebound due to advancement of age, call the Rectory to arrange for the sacraments of reconciliation, communion and anointing at home. When you go to a hospital be sure to tell the admitting office that you are a Catholic patient and a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo parish.
PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION CHAPEL: Open all day and night for Eucharistic adoration and located at the south end of the campus on Cinder Road next to the Rectory. Parishioners and friends are encouraged to become adorers or to stop in and spend some time in quiet prayer with the Lord. If interested in learning more please call or email: Bobby or Jessica Zottoli at 845-429-0320 or [email protected].
SPONSOR CERTIFICATES for Baptism and Confirmation are available to active parishioners, please call the rectory three weeks in advance.
MISSION STATEMENT: St. Gregory Barbarigo parish is a Christian community of disciples in the Roman Catholic faith, called by Jesus, united in Eucharistic worship, devoted to the Blessed Mother, and growing in faith, hope and love. Nourished through the sacraments and strengthened by God’s transforming love, we are empowered to know the gospel message and to witness it to others. As Christian stewards, we are thankful for God’s many gifts and we commit ourselves to share our time, talent and treasure in Christ-like service. We seek God’s blessing and guidance to be faithful to this mission.

BIBLE: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth
Join us at Saint Gregory’s to better understand God’s word in the Bible. The Bible can be describes as a collection of love letters from God giving us the information, we need to achieve eternal salvation. Saint Greg-ory’s scripture study group wants you to join them to participate in a new study titled Women in the New Testament. We start this program on Thursday, January 14 in the afternoon at 3PM in the church with a second repeat session, at 7PM in the same location. Each session is independent of the others, so even if you miss a week or two you can participate and learn a great deal. No prior experience in our study group is needed to participate which will last for seven weeks. This gives us the opportu-nity to study the Word of God as we prepare for and begin Lent. All you need is a Bible and a pen; other materials will be pro-vided. To learn more about this program please call Deacon John Kelly or Lucy Kelly at (845) 947-2095.
FORTY-SEVENTH ANNUAL MARCH FOR LIFE: The Rockland Right to Life Committee have decided not to provide a bus to Washington, DC this year for the world’s largest annual prolife dem-

Christmas 2020 will be updated in our next bulletin.
Well today’s feast day - Baptism of the Lord - marks the end of the Christmas Season. Tomor-row we begin the second week in ordinary time. Obviously this Christmas has been unlike any Christmas before because of the corona
virus which we are enduring. But through it all we still cele-brated this beautiful season celebrating the birth of our Sav-ior. And we celebrated - in person and on-line. I looked at the bulletin last year at this time, and we had opted to stop Communion from the chalice because of the flu since it had significantly increased, little did we know what was on the horizon. But by the grace of God, we will be back to ordinary next Christmas. And speaking of Christmas - thanks are ex-tended to everyone who contributed to the Christmas collec-tion - that helps us keep going well into the spring.
Moving from Christmas to the school addition - there has also been progress on the Cafeteria/Community Room; a large part of the east wall has been erected. The updates on the interior have also progressed. It will be excit-ing when we see the building taking shape.
Finally - Mariann Albin has stepped up to the plate and volunteered to teach our Religious Ed 4th grade, which frees me up. So thank you Mariann Albin, and all the other volunteers who make our Religious Ed program a reality.
Yours in Christ,
Father Fallon

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND SCHOOL PARENTS—of children who are preparing for the sacrament of first Penance on Saturday, February 13 and Saturday, February 20, 2021 are reminded to participate in the important catechetical meetings which will be held on Thursday, January 28 and February 1, 2021 at 6:30 PM in the Church. Those who are preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation in October will meet on Monday, January 11 and Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 6:30 PM in the Church.
