Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) This program is designed for all children from grades 2-6 who desire to receive the Catholic

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Registration is ongoing for all those interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith. Inquirers are instructed in the Catholic Faith and introduced to the life of the Church. The sessions are Tuesdays from 7-9pm at St. James Church. BAPTISM PREPARATION Registration takes place at the Parish Office before the session. A Baptism Preparation session is required for the baptism of your first child. (Baptisms take place the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month after the 11am mass in Okotoks, and at the 9am mass in Black Diamond. *Saturday @ 5:30pm also available.
Cost is $20.00.
Next Session : Wednesday, June 13 @ 7pm (If your child is older than seven years and in need of baptism, please contact the parish office at 403-938-3122.) *NEW* As per Diocesan guidelines, the following documents are now required when requesting baptism:

MARRIAGE PREPARATION Phone the Parish Office at least 6 months before marriage and make an appointment. Marriage preparation sessions are mandatory for those preparing for marriage. Sessions run Friday @ 7-9pm and continue Saturday @ 9am-4pm. Includes follow up meetings with Sponsor couples.
Cost is $150.00 per couple.

19th and Sunday, May 20th after all

We will be remembering deceased members of our parish whose death
occurred between February 2017 and May 2018. For St. James and St.
Michael's Churches, mass will be held on Tues. May 22nd at 7 pm at St.
James Church, Okotoks. During adoration, immediately following mass,
we invite all parishioners who wish to remember
their deceased loved ones, regardless of when the
loss occurred, to light a memorial tea light and
bring it to the altar. All are welcome to participate.
Christian Yoga Ministry Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with
all your mind. Luke 10:27 Christian yoga is a spiritual discipline, much like prayer, fasting and meditation, designed to facilitate the worship and celebration of God through physical movement and medita-tion. Classes will be held weekly at St. James church, from September to end of June.

PERMANENT DIACONATE – APPLY BY MAY 31
The Diocese of Calgary is looking for men of prayer and charity who are prepared to serve the church in ordained ministry as permanent deacons. Men must be Roman Catholic, married or
single, 35 to 60 years of age, minimum grade 12 education, be of sound moral character and
mature faith. During four years of Human, Spiritual, Theological, and Pastoral formation, the aspirant will prepare for the threefold ministries of Charity, Word, and Sacrament that are the
