The Third Sunday of Advent is called Gaudete Sunday.
Although it takes place during the usually penitential
period of Advent, Gaudete Sunday serves as a mid-point
break from the austere practices to rejoice in the
nearness of Jesus's return.

Lord we give thanks for this day as we recall all the
marvelous things You have done for us. We ask that
You open our hearts to a better understanding of
Your love for us and Your kindness in our lives. We ask

The Mary Martha Guild would like to thank all who
purchased cookies at last weekend’s cookie sale. It
was a huge success.

so generously in the Giving Tree
campaign this year. Your
generosity helped families in
need as well as the Refugee
Apostolate and Seminarians.
We are most grateful to Martha Tower for providing
us with a lovely guided meditation on the Nativity
this past week. Thank you Martha for helping us to
focus on what is most important this Advent.

Thanks go out to the LOCAL 322 of Monson MA for
their gift of $4090.00 toward our Food Pantry. In
addition, we received $1,000.00 from a former parish
family to be used to help those in need.
MANY THANKS to Tom O'Malley and family,
Bud Harris, of O'Malley Truck and Auto Repair and
to NAPA Auto Parts of Auburn for the donated
services and parts needed to repair a car donated by
Mid State Auto Group of Auburn, Hillary Watson
and through very generous donations of parishioners
and friends of our parish. This effort provided one of
our Parish folk, dealing with homelessness with a
needed car. We are most grateful for the services
rendered in excess of $2,300.00 God Bless.
