A mailing has been sent to all parishioners who have not yet made a gift to the Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal (CMAA). Please prayerfully consider supporting the CMAA, if your means allow. The CMAA helps our parish and the Diocese of Joliet to pro-vide vital ministries, programs and services to support our friends and neighbors in need, especially during these unprece-dented times. Our parish goal is $35,500 and to date we have received $11.084. Thank you for your support!

F o r t y - s e c o n d A n n u a l W e d d i n g

Anniversary Mass on Sunday, August 23,

2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of St.

Raymond in Joliet. If you are celebrating either your

25th or 50th anniversary this year, please contact the

parish office so that we may submit your name to

the Diocese for a formal invitation. Those

celebrating over 50 year anniversaries do not

receive a formal invitation, but will be able to

register to attend at a later date.

STEWARDSHIP PRAYER

God of mercy, you have given us this special time to reflect on our lives,

believe in the Good News and draw closer to you. May this season of Lent

help us be good stewards of this time: to fast and pray, be more generous and

show others how to live in Christ. Let us see each day of this season as a new

opportunity to renew our lives and gain a deeper appreciation of Your active

presence in us and our community of faith. Give us the grace to see Your face in others, especially the poor and those

who suffer. And through your Spirit, enkindle in us the fire of Your love so

that we may be better stewards of Your redeeming work throughout the world. We ask this through Jesus Christ, Your Son, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one

God, forever and ever. Amen

Prayer For A New Bishop

Good and gracious God, You have always been present to your Church

giving it a Shepherd's care.

Our Diocese has been blessed again and again with generous, wise, and loving Bishops.

In Your kindness, we ask abundant blessings be bestowed upon Bishop Conlon

for the years he served the people of the Diocese of Joliet

with the heart of a Missionary Disciple.

We come once again in need of a shepherd. Send your Spirit to guide the deliberations

that will lead to the appointment of a shepherd

with a heart like Your Son.

We ask this through our Lord, Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You

and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

A Prayer for the Diocese of Joliet

God of all ages, in these challenging times

deepen our faith as we grow into

Missionary Disciples.

Your Son, walked among us blessing the poor in spirit, the merciful and the peacemakers.

You call us today to be witnesses of His loving mercy and to be people

of service and abiding peace.

Grant us the courage to walk as people of faith

who continue the work of bringing about Your Kingdom

in the Diocese of Joliet. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

On Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th the church will be open for weekend Masses. Everyone who comes must wear a mask the entire time and will sanitize their hands upon entry. No more than 94 people will be allowed in the church at the same time. Family units, those who live under the same roof, will be allowed to sit together. Others will need to sit six feet away from them. A greeter will show people where to sit. In order to attend Mass you will need to contact the Parish Office to register you and/or your family on a weekly basis. We will begin to take registrations on Monday, June 8th. Sacrament Procedures

Baptisms: Pre-baptism Class is required before your date will be set. Please contact the parish office to register.

Weddings: Spiritual Preparation begins at least SIX months in advance. Do not make your reservations until you have met with the pastor.

Sacrament of the Sick: First Friday of the month at 7:30 am.

Communion Visits: Call the Parish Office.

The Diocese of Joliet Victim Assistance Coordinator is available to help victims /survivors of child sexual abuse by a cleric, employee or volunteer of the Catholic Church.

The Victim Assistance Coordinator will report to Bishop Conlon and coordinate efforts of pastoral support and outreach to assist in the healing process.

The Victim Assistance Coordinator can also assist in making a report to civil authorities.
