Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee Melody: HY!HN TO JOY

I. Joyful, joyful, we adore thee, God of glory, Lord of love; Hearts unfold like flowers before thee, Praising thre, their sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness; Drive the dark of doubt away; Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day!

3. Thou art giving and forgiving, Ever blessing, ever blest, Wellspring of the joy of living Ocean-depth of happy rest. Thou our Father, Christ our brother, All who live in love are thine; Teach us how to love each other, Lift us to the joy divine.

2. All thy wocks with joy surround thee, 4. Mortals, join the mighty chorus, Earth and heaven reflect thy rays, Which the morning stars began; Stars and angels sing around thee, Father-love is reigning o'er us, Center of unbroken praise; Human love, God's holy plan. Field and forest, vale and mountain, Ever singing march we onward, Blooming meadow, flashing sea, Victors in the midst of strife; Chanting bird and flowing fountain Joyful music lifts us sunward Call us to rejoice in thee. In the triumph song of life. I

1. We; the daughters and sons of Him Who built the valleys and plains, Praise the wonders our God has done In ev'ry heart that sings.

2. In His wisdom He strengthens us uke gold that's tested in fire. Though the power of sin prevails, Our God is there to save.

l Ev'ry moment of ev'ry day Our God is waiting to save, Always ready to seek the lost, To answer those who pray.

4. God has watered our barren land And spent His merciful rain. Now the rivers of life run full For anyone to drink.
