Interesting dance facts!!!Aboriginal dances date back 40,000-60,000 years and were one way of sharing stories: they would often be based on animals, land, dreamtime and Aboriginal people.

Create a dance and the steps that mixes up traditional dances, like flamenco, waltz, etc. with modern styles, like hip hop!!!

Once you have picked a title then you can build some ideas….. Come up with an idea for a song - remember, no idea is a bad idea! Make a list of some of the words you have thought of for your idea Choose a tune, the simpler the better - perhaps you could choose one of your

favourite songs and rewrite the words to go with the tune Work on writing the chorus first - the chorus is the part that is repeated in the

song – here is an example of a chorus:

Art Therapy

Art therapy helps children and adults explore their emotions, improve self-esteem and cope with a physical illness or disability, etc.

Pattern Making

Patternmakers use their knowledge of fabrics, sewing skills and ability to alter garments to a pattern that copies a design. Eventually, a patternmaker's pattern is used by a clothing manufacturer to produce garments for clothing retailers.

Illustration

An Illustrator is a person who draws or creates pictures for magazines, books, advertising, etc.

Set Design

A Set Designer is someone who creates and designs sets for plays, films or television productions, for example the theatre stage for Lion King:

after schoolActor: being an actor often takes a lot of research. Most actors study the characters they play before acting the roles.

Fashion Designer: Fashion designers thinks of ideas and draws pictures of clothes, hats and shoes.

Graphic Designer: Graphic design dates back to Egyptian hieroglyphs (17,000-year-old cave paintings). They design pictures and logos using images, colour and typography (look up what typography means!).

Interior Designer: A person who plans the decoration of the inside of a building such as a house or office.

Photographer: someone who takes photographs as part of their job. The images can be used for books, magazines, films, and television programmes.

Animation

An animator creates a series of images that form the animation seen in movies, commercials, television programs, and video games. Animators use computer software to do their work.

Fashion Design

Fashion designers thinks of ideas and draw pictures of clothes, hats and shoes.
