I have only known you as a year group from September 2011. It has been apleasure to get to know you as a group and as individuals. I have had the privilegeof witnessing your development academically and as young people, Yourapplication to your studies has paid off and you have proved to be very hardworking, in addition to this you have shown a great deal of interest in activities inand outside of school. You are now reaching a huge mile stone in your lives, leavingprimary school and moving on to new schools and opportunities. I hope you willtake with you fond memories of your time at St Joseph's Infant and junior schools.Remember to believe in yourselves and strive for excellence! I wish you all the verybest for the future, God bless and be happy.

My favourite job as Headteacher:Is being able to walk into classrooms and see what children are doing and the progress they aremaking. I enjoy talking to the children and parents and getting to know them all.

My thoughts on the schools achievements this year:It has been a difficult year in many respects and I know there has been a lot of changes andthings to get used to. We have made progress in many areas this year and have a lot to feelproud of as a school community.

Something I am proud of this year:I am proud of all the children in the school, It gives me great pleasure to see them enjoy schooland get involved with school life.

12Mrs KellyI have been teaching at St Joseph's for one year and it has been a really rewardingyear. I have enjoyed teaching Year 6 and the children have all worked extremelyhard and they should be very proud of their achievements.

St Joseph's is a warm and welcoming school and the children and staff have mademe feel so welcome here.I hope Year 6 will come back and visit us.

Our topics:We have looked at a number of different topic this year which have included: Rivers, WW2,Forces, Collage and the work of the apostles in R.E.

Days out / special events:We had a fabulous trip to PGL back in October. The children all thoroughly enjoyed themselvesand learnt new skills. I was most impressed by how well you worked together and cooperatedwith one another. I also really enjoyed the end of SAT's picnic!

Message to the class:I have really enjoyed teaching you all this year. You are a credit to the school and yourparents. Next year, concentrate on doing things that will have a positive effect on your lives.Choose your friends wisely, listen to your parents and teachers, and do the very best youpossibly can in everything. Good luck and I will miss you all.

12Mrs PhillipsI've been teaching at St. Joseph's for 2 years now, and have been lucky enough tokeep the same class for both years. I particularly enjoy teaching Literacy and Topic(history and geography), but I don't think that there are any subjects that I disliketeaching.I have had a lot of fun with 6P over the last 2 years and have enjoyed getting toknow them all. I will miss them very much - even the ones who have driven me madfor 2 years - and wish them all the very best in the future.

Our topics:This year we have learned about what life was like for children during World War 2, and how lifein Britain has changed in the decades since 1930. We followed our history topic with our Riverstopic. We looked at the River Severn, along with a number of rivers from around the world.

Days out / special events:I have some great memories of our trip to PGL during the autumn term. The children were areal credit to the school, and many showed great courage, perseverance and a willingness tohave a go at anything and everything.

Message to the class:I would like to say a special 'Thank You' to 6P for a really enjoyable 2 years. You are all talentedand special in your own ways and should be proud of the work that you have done and theprogress that you have made.Remember: Work hard, always do your best and most importantly, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF:-)
