Prayer To St. Rocco
PATRON SAINT OF CONTAGION, EPIDEMICS, ILLNESS
O great St. Rocco, deliver us, we beseech you from
contagious diseases, and the contagion of sin.
Obtain for us, a purity of heart which will bear
sufferings with patience. Teach us to follow your
example in the practice of penance and charity, so
that we may, one day enjoy the happiness of being
with Christ our Savior, in Heaven.

NOTES FROM OUR DEACON
Dear St. Margaret Shrine Members, I must begin my letter with a thank you to Father Giandomenico, Deacon Tom Masaryk, Lucia
Palmieri and Bilal Gilbertie for the most beautiful Easter celebrations last week! Our
Easter Vigil mass was such a powerful presentation. When
the bells began to ring and the lights flashed on I felt such a wave of emotion. I also need to thank you, our congregation, for your wonderful attendance at all the Holy
Week livestreamed events on Facebook and our website www.stmargaretshrine.org . Easter is our season as Catholics to be reborn. Jesus Is Risen on Easter Day and He is with
us always. Again my message to you during this very difficult time in our lives is to remain close to our Lord and Savior. Cling to Him, pray to Him daily and find His presence and
His peace in your heart. Even though we might not be in physical contact with one another, know that we clergy love you and miss you and are praying for you unceasingly.
Together, with Jesus as our guide, we will make it through to better times. We await the resurrection of our community
when we can all be together again. Amen?

LORD JESUS,
You traveled through towns and villages curing every disease and
illness among the people. At your command, the sick were made
well. Come to our aid now in this
health crisis so that we may know
your healing love.
Heal those who are sick: may they
regain their health and strength.
Heal us from our fear, which pre-
vents us from helping one an-
other. Heal us from our pride, which
makes us certain of our health
and life apart from you.
Bless health care professionals
with strength and compassion as
they selflessly respond to our needs.
We make this prayer in your strong and holy name, You, who with the Father and Spirit,
live and reign for ever and ever. Amen.
