This Christmas, the collection will once again benefit the Clergy Health and Retirement Trust which cares for the needs of our priests. The 614 diocesan priests in our Archdiocese are there for us, sharing Christ’s good news, performing good works, and building strong communities of good faith. Remember priests such as Fr. Matt who have made a meaningful difference in your life, and consider honoring him with a generous gift to today’s collection. Thank you!
St. Mary’s is happy to announce that we are starting a Bible Study Group! We will be starting the program in mid January. It will run for 7 sessions on Tuesdays 10:00am-12:00pm. Space is limited to approximately 10 people. The program we will be using is Priest, Prophet, King. Please email Laurie at [email protected] to register or call the rectory for more information. Cost of the class is $25.00 to cover materials. We’d like to know if there is a need for an evening session as well. We are looking for participants and a facilitator. If you are interested, please contact the Rectory. Facilitators don’t need to know all the answers. He/She keeps the dis-cussion flowing and we have a facilitator book for your use. Go to www.youtube.com and search Priest, Prophet, King Trailer to see Bishop Robert Barron.

The Fourth Annual Christmas Village and Toy Train Display has once again made the trip
from The North Pole. Christmas Elves Lloyd Gibbs, Ron Meisner, Pete Ouimet and Paul Beck collaborated on this year's crea-tive display. The original concept and inspiration was a gift from Father Jerry Hogan who provided the animated Santa Train and many of the lighted ceramic houses and structures. Over time, other gifts have increased the train count to four track loops and in tribute to Father Jerry, a complete Circus Train with all the animals, clowns and outdoor circus rings. The display will be operational until after New Years, and guests are in-vited after the 9:00 and 11:00 Masses on Sunday.
Know, grow and share your faith this Christ-mas. Check out our Lighthouse Catholic Media stand at the lower church for last minute stocking stuffers that can possibly change lives! Your donation is appre-ciated and will help to keep this ministry going. For questions/feedback please send an email to [email protected].

Meet Msgr. McDonough— A Priest and a GeneralAs a native of Boston, Msgr. John P. McDonough never dreamed he would travel the world, bringing the presence of Christ to our military serving abroad. But for thirty years, that’s exactly what he did. As a two-star general, Msgr. McDonough’s call as a military chaplain was to ensure that men and women were able to practice their faith—Catholic or otherwise—as they served their country.
Now at 88 years of age, Msgr. McDonough reects on a priesthood well-lived and well-served. He resides at Regina Cleri, a retirement home for senior priests in Boston, where he ministers to his brother priests, celebrates Mass with them daily, and continues traveling to parishes around the Archdiocese to assist with services.
To help ensure priests like Msgr. McDonough are cared for as they age, please support the Christmas collection this year.
