But a very little while, / and Lebanon shall be changed into an orchard, / and the orchard be regarded as a
forest. —Isaiah 29:17
Sometimes it’s easy to think that the hardships of life will never change. When we go through an illness or a time of grieving, it’s hard to imagine that we will ever be happy again. But the snow of winter always melts away. With God’s grace, our lives might be healed when we least
expect it. Today, remember to be hopeful. A change might be right around the corner.

On Sunday, December 13, 2015 at 4:00 pm, a Service of Lessons and Carols will be held at St.
Joseph’s Church, 58 Elm Street, Claremont, New Hampshire. This Service uses the traditional
Readings, Prayers and Carols as heard on Christmas Eve from King’s College, Cambridge, and broadcast on the BBC in London. Mr. Ed Boadway will serve as organist for this Service and will be playing a foot- pumped Estey reed organ built in Brattleboro, Vermont. A basket will be available for a free will offering for the FUEL FUND for St.
Joseph’s Church. All are invited to attend.
Retirement Fund for the Religious Collection December 12-13—Aging Religious need your help. In
the US today, there are more than 33,000 senior Catholic sisters, brothers, and religious order priests. These religious worked tirelessly in Catholic schools,
hospitals, and agencies, usually for little to no pay. As a result, many religious communities lack adequate savings for retirement and eldercare. Your gift to today’s collection for the Retirement Fund for the
Religious helps to provide medications, nursing care, and more. Please be generous. Thank you!
Camp Fatima for boys and Camp Bernadette for girls are now accepting registrations for the 2016 summer season. The camps, located in the Lakes Region of NH, offer 2-week
overnight sessions for children, ages 6-15. To request a brochure and DVD, contact Michael Drumm at 603-364-5851 or email [email protected], or visit us on
the web at www.campsfatimabernadette.org. Please don’t wait as sessions fill up quickly.
Advent “Tree of Life” 2015 Monetary donations are still being
accepted until December 31. Thank you all for your generosity in helping to
make Christmas a little brighter for our local families who are struggling. They will enjoy wrapping the gifts that you have so thoughtfully chosen and
presenting them to their children on Christmas morning. The Claremont Kiwanis Club is the organization that is coordinating the giving of about 1,000
clothing gifts and many toys too! St. Mary’s is the largest donor since we purchased over 200 clothing gifts this year. We couldn’t do it without the
help of so many of you! May the joy you have shared with others come back
to bless your own Christmas! Thank you!
Announcements If you notice people on the prayer list who no longer should be listed please let us know so that
we may keep that updated. Thank you!
