Most of our classes have been to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre for the Punch- drunk performances. They were lucky enough to watch a thought– provoking performance of one of our favourite empathy stories; ‘Grandpa’s Island’. Both pupils and teachers were mesmerised by the beauful performances. We would like to thank Ms Henry and the PTA for pung on a wonderful party for our Year 6 children this year. It was a lovely way of saying goodbye to our Year 6’s but also thank you for their contribuons that have benefied us all– they have been a truly wonderful year group. We wish a very resul weekend. Well done for your commitment to your learning, Sharnae! Sadly Ms Henry had an accident and broke her leg this week. However she is making a speedy recovery as we speak. Thank you all for your well– wishes and kind words of encouragement. She is very appreciative of them all and it shows some of the best bits about our school! Year 5— IMPORTANT INFORMATION There are two more cluster meetings for this school year for Year 5 parents to attend. These are being held at secondary schools, but will not include a school tour, the schools are just a host venue for the meetings. SCHOOL ADDRESS DATE TIME Haggerston Weymouth Terrace E2 8LS Thursday 5 th July 4 – 5pm The Urswick Paragon Road E9 6NR Monday 9 th July 4 – 5pm School Dinner/Packed Lunch September 2018 Due to our new cashless system being implemented from September, your child will no longer be able to have school dinner one day and packed lunch another day. You will have to decide whether your child has school dinner or packed lunch for the whole of the half term. Please discuss this with your child and let us know in September what you decide. You will be able to change your mind each half term. Please call the office if you have any questions. Please read attached letter carefully!

This week some of our children took part in “Bike around the Borough” What an experience and a good day was had by all!

Ks1 SPORTS DAY was held at the Vicarage .

Well done to Year 1 and Year 2 on all their efforts

during this occasion. A special mention for all

those children who entered every single event and

managed to reach a good standard. A BIG SHOUT

to all the parents who came along to give their

support.

Ks2 SPORTS DAY was held at Clissold Park

Well done to the Y3—Y6 children who participated

in this sport day.

Everyone had a really good time—the main aim was

for everyone to have fun and the children certain-

ly did.

Every child tried their best and represented their

team well. A massive well done to everyone

involved, children, parents and staff.

Overall Final results were:

Ist ENGLAND 490 points

2nd FRANCE 466 points

3rd NIGERIA 461 points

4th BRAZIL 400 points
