RCIA Team meets every Thursday in the Smart Board room at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to join us. The classes are for anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, Catholic or non Catholic, and its teaching are held every Sunday at St. Andrew’s Worship site at 9:00 am in the basement of the church. Please feel free to join us.

CWL Meeting will be held Thursday, March 12th at 2:00 pm. We will support the youth house this month. They would appreciate receiving toiletries such as towels, face cloths, toothbrush’s, also stockings or gift cards. Blessed are you for supporting the needy. We are thankful for all the support you give. Late dues are being collected.

St. Michael’s Basilica St. Patrick’s Day Concert will be cancelled for this year. Items that have been donated at the office, can be picked up, or you can leave them for the concert next year.

As a fundraiser for the Capital Campaign to put a new roof on St. Andrew's. We are planning a memorial tree of deceased loved ones for Easter. If you are interested in contributing to this, it is $5 per name and please see Anne Bracken or Lydia Ross and they will take your loved ones name and your donation. Thank you for your support!

Religious Education News

Grade 9 Confirmation Candidates, the NET youth ministries team are asked to register at 5:45 pm at St. Michael’s Basilica Parish Centre on Thursday March 12th. Spend an evening with the NET youth minister from 6 pm—9 pm.

*All religion class’s will resume on Sunday March 15th.

Religious Education update: First communion will take place Sunday May 3rd during the 10:30 a.m. Mass reception to follow in the Church basement. Confirmation will take place on April 26th at the 5:30 p.m. Mass reception to follow in the Church basement.

Cursillo Weekend 2020– Is this for you? It’s a three day weekend where participants share a profound experience of Christian Life. The weekend starts on a Thursday and ends Sunday afternoon. During these three days, we learn how to get to know ourselves, distinguishing yourself from others examining our inner self looking for comfort and security. It’s a chance to experience the presence and love of Jesus Christ, which is an encounter with God. Finally to see the good that can be provided by a loving and caring community, sharing attitudes, interests and goals. Dates for the upcoming Men’s Weekend are May 21st—24th, 2020 . St. Patrick’s Roast Beef Supper will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 188 Wellington Street on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. (100 pre-sold tickets) Tickets are $15.00 a person.
