St. Margaret’s Parish is having a fundraiser draw
There will be five prizes of $100.00 each. We are selling
envelopes containing five tickets for $10. Please contact
a parish council member to purchase tickets or if you are
interested in selling tickets. Draw will be made when all
the envelopes are sold.
St. margaret’s parish is having a Penny Sale on Sunday, May
3rd from 2-4 pm. We are looking for donations of gifts valued
at $15.00 or more and all donations are greatly appreciated.
Your generosity and support can mke this fundraiser a huge
success. Please contact Joanne or Maura with your donation.

There are 23 prizes to be won. Draw date is Sunday, June 14 at the Brunch.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year with an opportunity to make
$32,000. To get tickets, please drop by the office or contact members of the
Finance Council.
Spring penny sale
May 24th, St. Michael’s Spring Penny Sale. Your generosity is once
again needed for our Penny Sale. New gifts valued at $15 are needed
and can be dropped off at the Parish Office. In lieu of a gift you can
make a cash donation of $15-20 (to be used towards purchasing priz-
es). Please put you donation in an envelope marked “Spring Penny
Sale” and drop in the collection basket or at the Parish Office. To help
the organizers, please have your gift or donation in by mid May. We
appreciate and need your support!
Easter celebrations A special “thank you” to our Art & Environment Committee for decorating our Basilica so beautifully for the Easter season. Also, to the members of the “Living Stations of the Cross” under the direction of Barb McLaughlin, a heartfelt “thank you” for your passionate performance on Good Friday.

We are excited to be hosting
a VBS this summer from July
6-10. It will run each evening
from 6 to 8:30. This is a free event for children from Kindergarten to
Grade 6. Our program is called SonSpark Labs. We encourage you to get

Automated external defibrillator The new AED donated in memory of Alice & Leonard Hachey has arrived and is located in the main church near the parish centre exit doors.
Parish News Cont’d Capital campaign—save the date Please reserve the date of Friday, Nov 13/15 for a concert perfor-mance with “The Bettys” featuring Miramichi’s own Patty (Burchill) Pederson. The performance will take place at James M. Hill Theater with proceeds going towards the Capital Fundraising Campaign. Further details to follow in the coming weeks.
Lily Tree Memorials 2015
Cwl diocesan convention is being held at St. Michael’s May 1-3. Please note the CWL members will be serving as lectors and Eucharistic Ministers during the 10:30 am Mass on May 3.
St. Vincent De Paul store room will be open on Saturdays, from 9am-1030am. To find the new location of the room, please use the Parish Centre entrance.
