Mass Requests Offering a Mass for a dearly departed one or for a special intention for a friend or family member is a wonderful gift.

Masses can bring comfort for those physically or emotionally ill and in need of healing and prayers. Masses are also a thoughtful gift to celebrate a birthday or special milestone.

You are welcome to stop by the rectory office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and we will be most happy to assist you with your request.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I do hope you and your families have a wonderful Christmas filled with joy, peace, happiness, and an abundance of grace from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our Christmas liturgies promise to be so prayerful, augmented beautifully by the angelic singing of our choir, cantors, and congregations. As you know, this is my second Christmas at Saint Patrick serving as your pastor. I continue to feel your support and encouragement and I feel right at home – it just keeps getting better! I hope that you, too, feel my love and support as we continue our journey together worshipping the Lord who came among us once at Bethlehem and abides with us now through the presence of the Holy Spirit. Saint Patrick is truly a wonderful community and I feel so blessed to belong to such a vibrant and faith-filled parish. As we look forward to 2018, may it be a wonderful year for each of you, for our parish community and for our world. May our Lord, born once at Bethlehem bless our many worthwhile endeavors as we seek to promote His message of peace, hope, joy, and love! Again, a most heart-felt Merry Christmas! BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION

St. Patrick's is continuing the Box Tops fundraiser and we could use your help!

After you purchase your favorite participating products, cut out the

small box top, put it into a sealed bag, and drop it in the containers located in the Church vestibule. Each box top earns cash which we will use for numerous programs for our school children.

Thank you for your participation!

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Special thanks to our donors, our customers, and our wonderful volunteers for your amazing generosity and support during 2017!

The Word became flesh “The Word became flesh”. The light of this truth is revealed to those who receive it in faith, for it is a mystery of love. Only those who are open to love are enveloped in the light of Christmas. So it was on that night in Bethlehem, and so it is today. The Incarnation of the Son of God is an event which occurred within history, while at the same time transcending history. In the night of the world a new light was kindled, one which lets itself be seen by the simple eyes of faith, by the meek and humble hearts of those who await the Savior. If the truth were a mere mathematical formula, in some sense it would impose itself by its own power. But if Truth is Love, it calls for faith, for the “yes” of our hearts. “The Word became flesh”. The proclamation of Christmas is also a light for all peoples, for the collective journey of humanity. “Emmanuel”, God-with-us, has come as King of justice and peace. We know that his Kingdom is not of this world, and yet it is more important than all the kingdoms of this world. It is like the leaven of humanity: were it lacking, the energy to work for true development would flag: the impulse to work together for the common good, in the disinterested service of our neighbor, in the peaceful struggle for justice, Belief in the God who desired to share in our history constantly encourages us in our own commitment to that history, for all its contradictions. It is a source of hope for everyone whose dignity is offended and violated, since the one born in Bethlehem came to set every man and woman free from the source of all enslavement. Excerpts from Christmas Blessing Urbi et Orbi, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI
