Update on Our Lenten Charity 2012Ruth, Haron and Immaculate
Greetings and best wishes from the Children and I at St.
Anthony Small Home. Ruth and Haron are continuing their
physical therapy. Their condition is good. Throughout the
summer the children were trained on how to walk straight
with the help of the walking frames and crutches.
Haron has been trying to walk without crutches.
Remembering that Haron has polio on both limbs his left
leg is still quite bent and his doctor advised that it will be
corrected gradually. He will most likely have another
operation in the future but for now he is walking upright for
the first time using his crutches.
Ruth’s operation was successful and her club foot was
corrected. She healed well and throughout the summer
she learned how to walk. She is very determined to walk
on her own. She has special boots and does her
exercises and is walking on the parallel bars. After the 6th
of October she will be fitted with braces to support her
legs and walk with crutches.
Thank you for taking part in this wonderful transformation
of RUTH's and HARON's life. May God bless you
abundantly!

Peace ofChrist be with you!
Immaculate is well. Her determination is great! She
continued with her therapy throughout the summer and
now she is fitted with a special shoe so she can walk. For
the first time in her life she is walking and can even run a
bit with much comfort. On October 18th Immaculate will
return to the hospital and the Doctor will adjust her shoe
according to her progress. Immaculate has one leg
shorter than the other so she will always have to wear a
special shoe in order to give her balance but she is able to
walk. I will update on her progress after her visit.
Immaculate prays for all of you every day.
God bless you all!
