CONGRATULATIONS TO DEACON CARL HUBBELL who will celebrate the 29th anniversary of his ordination as a Deacon of the Church on May 14th. We are so blessed to have you and grateful for all you do! You hold a very special place in our hearts!…………………………………………………………………. LADIES TEA: St. William is hosting a Ladies High Tea on Saturday June 17th from 1:00—3:30PM in the Sr. Terry Mar-tin Fellowship Hall at Immaculate Heart of Mary. As you may remember, this is a very classy and fun event. The theme for the event this year is “All are welcome in this place.” Start planning your table with your special china, pick out a fun hat and join ladies from the community. Tickets are $5.00 per per-son and will be on sale closer to the date. …………………………………………………………………. LEBANESE DINNER—JOIN US SATURDAY, JUNE 3rd at 7PM in the Commons at St. William as we venture out to the cuisine of the Middle East for an authentic Lebanese din-ner! Tickets for this event are $15 and you may bring your own wine or beer only! Tickets will be available the weekends of May 13th, 20th and 27th and will also be available in the Par-ish Office. The event was sold out last year so please get your tickets once they go on sale. …………………………………………………………………. THE DIOCESE OF CHARLOTTE EUCHARISTIC CON-GRESS will take place Friday and Saturday, September 8 and 9. This spiritually unifying event brings together thousands of Catholics from across the Diocese and Southeast for spiritual talks, music, prayer and fellowship—all centered around the Most Blessed Sacrament. WE PRAY THE ROSARY FOR WORLD PEACE: the Rosary is recited every Wednesday at 4:30PM prior to the 5PM Mass. Please join us. Mary Queen of Peace, pray for us.………………………………………………..………………… EUCHARIST ADORATION will resume Monday, February 13th from 7-8PM in the Sanctuary. This is a wonderful way to spend an hour with Jesus in thanksgiving, worship and prayer. ………………………………………………………………..... THE STATUTE OF OUR LADY that stands in the Narthex will be crowned on Saturday, May 13th after the 4PM Mass. This is the 100 anniversary of Our La-dy’s apparition to the three children at Fatima.
